I cannot recommend this counseling office enough. I have been seeing Kristy for the past 2 years, my oldest daughter has been seeing Dee for about 3 years, and my youngest recently started as well. Through stress management, parenting challenges, school issues, and one of the most difficult seasons of our lives during divorce, they have been an incredible source of support for my entire family. They have created a safe, caring, and judgment free environment where each of us has felt heard, understood, and supported.

Not only are the counselors amazing, but the office staff is as well. Every interaction has been met with kindness, patience, and a warm smile. They are always helpful, accommodating, and genuinely make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door. I’ve been seeing Ryan for a little over a month now, and I can honestly say he has made such a positive impact on my life already. From the very first session, he created an environment where I felt comfortable, understood, and genuinely listened to without judgment.

I’ve been seeing Maggie at Lake Worth Counseling weekly for nearly the last year, and our sessions have genuinely become the highlight of my week. Over the last 20 years, I’ve worked with many therapists, and Maggie is hands down my favorite.

She is an incredible listener and has such a calming, grounded presence. What I appreciate most is her ability to help me take overwhelming emotions or complicated situations and break them down into manageable next steps. She has helped me work through family conflict, resolve misunderstandings, and better understand myself in the process.

Maggie has also helped me develop practical tools I use in everyday life — including mantras for self-soothing and recognizing how important routines are for my mental well-being. I always leave our sessions feeling more centered, capable, and understood.

My son has had 2 counselors at LWC and they have both fit his needs. He did play therapy and really enjoyed it and the counselor was always checking in to see if he was meeting the goals we set for him. I love how much LWC has helped!

Both my son and I have been attending secessions here for a while. I have to say that Ryan Thompson has been great with my teen son and Jennifer Davis has helped me so much. If you are looking for a place to go, LWC is amazing. They work to match you with the right person and are very flexible to rematch you if you don’t think that person is the right fit for you. In my experience, they matched both of us with the perfect people. Even the front end staff are so kind and easy to work with.
