La Bella Vita Montessori School

My son has been at LBV for close to 5 years and I can never say enough great things about this school! He moved through each room (Nido, Toddler and Early Childhhod) and each one was a similar experience of great teachers and a safe environment for him to learn and grow. I always felt such comfort knowing he was receiving the best care and attention each day. The school cares about each child as a whole person and I feel lucky we found this place when we did!

We have been so happy with our experience with La Bella Vita. We moved from out of state and initially started our oldest child at another center. We weren’t comfortable with their COVID-19 precautions and made the decision to switch to LBV. We have been very satisfied with the safety precautions they have in place. We had kept our youngest child out of school for a year because we felt uncomfortable with COVID-19. With moving to LBV we felt ready to send our youngest back to school. She has since started and has adjusted so well! She has gotten into a great routine and loves going to school. One day she got outside to go home and realized she had her indoor shoes on. She went back inside and independently changed her shoes. We are so happy we made the switch to LBV and our only regret is that we didn’t do it sooner!

Our daughter started with La Bella Vita in August 2020. I had to move her to a traditional daycare program 2 months later due to working part time. When I was offered full time employment, I emailed Amy right away to see if there might be an opening. Lucky for us, there was! Our daughter has been back for a week now and we are so pleased. While traditional daycare offered more flexibility, we saw her blossom while in La Bella Vita’s program. We love the thoughtfully prepared environment, the ability to pack her lunch, and the patient and amazing staff.

At La Bella Vita Montessori you can breath respect for children, parents and the staff. It promotes a positive environment by providing children ways to recognize their needs and given tools to create a positive citizen.

I'd highly recommend La Bella Vita. We've been so impressed with the school and our daughter has thrived there. Our daughter is in the Early Childhood (Primary) room that is for 3-6 year olds. I can't say enough great things about Mona - the Directress of the classroom. She is so patient and kind and has worked with navigating some behavioral challenges with our daughter. I wish we would have found LBV a year earlier. The school has a low turnover rate as almost all of the same teachers have been in each of the rooms for over a year which isn't something you always see at other schools.

The teachers are so gifted with the kids both in the classroom, and as resources for us as parents. Being able to work as a parent/teacher team to help our children through various developmental stages, which can often time feel challenging and overwhelming, has been so valuable to both the kids and us as parents. We have been a part of the LBV Family for over three years and I say Family because that is how they treat you and your kiddos. Even during a time our community has faced great uncertainty, Sharon and her team have continued to be open and honest with the families who attend. Some of that honesty includes having to make some difficult decisions, like temporarily adjusting the hours of operations. Did it affect drop-off and pick-up hours for myself and other families? Yes. BUT, doing so to take extra steps to ensure a no-fail system is in place, and extending their already strict sanitary procedures, gives me piece of mind. As a parent and as a small, local business owner, I understand having to make difficult decisions even in the hardest of times. I couldn't applaud their efforts more in creating a safe and positive environment for their teachers and our children.

I have been in the position as an assistant toddler teacher at the West location of La Bella Vita Montessori School for about 10 months, and have loved every moment of it. I knew nothing about Montessori prior to working here, but continuing to learn about it and working at LBV has made me fall in love with the Montessori philosophy.

The families that are and were enrolled at the school are amazing families! A lot of them are very supportive and have been nothing but friendly and welcoming since I have became part of the team.

The kids are a burst of energy everyday and are excited to learn and I love being able to observe and be apart of it! Not only have kids been learning, but I have too, because of them!

My boys always have such a fun time at La Bella Vita, the teachers in toddler room are 5 star and committed to helping the boys learn and grow. My boys love most the songs of the month when the words are changed to match the "theme". My 3 year old did not stop singing pumpkin on the fence and jack-o-lantern songs!
