Best experience ever!!! Received better care there then in the states!!

The level of care you receive at Hospital BC is unlike anything you would receive in the states. They truly care about their patients and strive to make sure you are comfortable. I would recommend them 1000 times over! If you are considering WLS I hope you choose Hospital BC, you won’t be disappointed.

I had the sleeve done by dr Ilan. It's been 30 days of my surgery and I lost 30 lbs. Attention is second to none, if I had to do it all over again, I would definitely go back. I've spoke to Michelle in the office and she has answered every single question even post op. I would give them 6 stars if I could

I have nothing but great things to say about Hospital BC and all it’s staff! They took such great care of not only me, but my husband (he was my companion). The valet-Antonio-was absolutely amazing in getting him food and coffee. The doctor, the nurses, everyone was absolutely amazing and kind. Thank you thank you thank you!!! I would definitely recommend anyone thinking about Bariatric surgery to go to Hospital BC.

I've been involved in medical tourism since 2013 and have had the pleasure of working with multiple bariatric surgeon but never decided to have my gastric sleeve until meeting Dr. Illan. i had surgery Nov 4th 2019. and I cannot say enough aboutthe staff! My personal care was amazing but the care for my husband, wow! they made sure he was all feed and taken care of too♡ i felt safe and cared for, for my entire trip♡

I have been in the health care field. Have been for over 25 years. I em must admit I was a little nervous about having my fist surgery at a place in Mexico! From the time we arrived at the hospital we were treated like family! The facility was clean and well kept! All of the staff was both professional and caring!! Service was like none I have seen or been associated with at any facility I have been around! If you are on the fence about having surgery, get over it and have it done!! Best decision I have ever made!!!

My wife had surgery( does not have Facebook) Her words:” Best decision I have ever done. Everything about Hospital BC was amazing from Dr. Illan, the nurses, the valets, the drivers, Stacey, the hotel.. all of it.. ( I’m sorry if I am forgetting anyone). From the time we walked in the door to the time we left, the staff went above and beyond their duties. Not only did they take care of myself, but they were always asking if my husband needed anything! I would absolutely recommend them. They make you feel as if you were family while you are there and stay in contact even after you get home! Cannot say enough positive things about Hospital BC.. Thank you again!!

It was a very positive experience. The Dr.,nurses, valets, and all of the staff took excellent care of me. I’m so grateful to have had the sleeve surgery! I got my health, no longer diabetes, energy, and much more mobility back! The only thing I didn’t get back was those awful extra pounds!! I’m so very grateful!!

My daughter and I had surgery on May 30th. The entire experience went flawlessly. All of my reservations about having surgery in another country were put to rest. This place and every member I came in contact with was so organized and friendly. They tell you what to expect and then, just imagine, it actually happens! Every person from the clinical staff to the transport team acted professionally and an interpreter was available at all times. The hospital was very clean and I actually felt safe. I never had to ask for anything post surgery because they came into our room like clockwork. I've had 2 surgeries in the states and did not receive the attentiveness I received with this team. One of the physicians even came to our hotel to check our incisions, review medications and answer any final questions the night before we left. This is a very professional medical group and support staff. From the private car “with” logo picking us up at the airport to crossing the border. It is a meticulously clean facility with a very attentive staff. My husband is in the medical field and was apprehensive about the level of care I would receive but was pleasantly surprised with how well everything was run. Staff speak both English and Spanish so you can feel comfortable in either language. This is a well oiled operation and things run smoothly the whole way though. Emails are quick to be answered. The drivers are fun to be with and know their way around with confidence. I felt spoiled and pampered despite having had a major surgery. The surgeon and medical staff are personable and take time to answer any questions that arise. I give Hospital BC two big thumbs up. Highly recommend.

I can’t brag enough about my wonderful experience at Hospital BC. The staff was phenomenal, the hospital was top notch and I’ve never experienced the care and compassion in the US that I experienced there. I am constantly telling Anyone I can how wonderful my experience was!

I had the best care while I was there. Better treatment here than you will ever get in the states.

The quality of care surpasses surgeries I have had at hospitals in the U.S. I even worked at one of them in the laboratory. I've had over a dozen surgeries in my life and never has one gone as smoothly as this one. In fact, I was dancing in the halls the next day. They make sure you are informed every step of the way. When I was worried about my medications since I was diabetic and a heart patient they never were dismissive with me. They gladly went over every thing with me. I wanted to and still want to move there. That is how amazing the medical care and the people are. Your care and comfort is the only thing they care about. They take it very seriously. They know your going to be nervous and especially being away from home. Worth the trip and I feel silly for any doubts or concerns I had before going. I accompanied my daughter to get her gastric sleeve at Hospital BC. I was 100% satisfied with the services we got there, Doctor Illan is a master in his field and 2 days after my daughter feels great. The nurses and other Doctors were very attentive to my daughters needs, going above and beyond and so were the valets, we delt with Antonio at the hospital during the day, he spoke perfect English and made me feel safe before she even went for surgery, friendly, personable and again going above and beyond. The day we were leaving Louis took us on a tour of the area, another caring person that went above and beyond. We had a fantastic day visiting the area.
