My experience at HostitalBC has been AMAZING! All the feedback that I got was not even close. Their level of care, service and patient focus is A+. Dr Illan and Dra Tania told me I needed to relax bc taking the stress was their job and that worked wonderful. My nurses Lupita, Paulette, Angie and Carolina were so lovely and kind. This is the most amazing place with the most amazing staff, from the doctors, to the nurses, to the valets to the help staff. The hospital is clean and very accommodating. The nutritionist meets with you and is very informative and helpful. They ensure you are equipped with everything and all of the knowledge you need to be successful. We flew all the way from Florida to come get the gastric sleeve with Dr. Illian since we had heard so many great reviews and only amazing things about him as surgeon and the hospital. I have decided to take charge of my life. I am family nurse practitioner from San Diego CA. Many patients who struggle for approval through their own healthcare insurance the many different loop holes to get approved. This option was simple to choose Hospital BC and Dr. Illian and his team. As a nurse practitioner I have seen the improvements in health with WLS. One day we are going to have to pay for our health through this surgery or end up paying BIG pharmacy of life time of medications as diabetes, hypertension, cholesterols. This surgery is a TOOL and a life long committed for change. Many other healthcare professions have used Hospital BC and I 10/10 highly recommend to come here

I loved hospital BC because the staff was so wonderful from our driver Robert that picked us up at our hotel, to the valet at the hospital. Dr Illian and all his staff have been amazing. I was hesitant years ago with the thought of surgery in Mexico but Hospital BC, Dr. Illan and all of the staff were fantastic! I haven’t been taken care of that good even in the US. It’s great to have a surgery that is cost effective. Thank you for changing my life for the better!!

I had nothing but a good experience from start to finish. Alex was very courteous on the phone when I called to book my appointment and he went over my options with me when I explained that I'd prefer to pay cash. I chose to come in the night before my surgery so I wouldn't be so rushed the day of. They booked my hotel for me and all I had to do was pay for it when I arrived, which was less than $100 USD. I travelled from Canada to the USA and then transitioned into Tijuana through San Diego. My driver was on time and was super friendly, pointing out all the sights on the way to the hospital. I was able to get some pre-op testing done the day before as I had arrived early enough. The driver then took me to the hotel and another driver was there to get me in the morning.
