I had the best experience here at Hospital BC. All the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Illan is the best! he did my gastric sleeve and today is the second day and I feel awesome. I highly recommend this Hospital if you need any Bariatric surgery. They are the best!

I had such a great experience. Pain was minimal…really only some gas pains and some nausea. Everyone makes you feel welcome and at home. I am definitely glad that I chose hospital bc!

From the moment I decided to message Bill Yanes, right away he responded and I was given all the information needed. The whole financial process was easy and painless. After filling my questionnaire, Stacy contacted me immediately and gave me amazing nutrition information, including the detailed day by day diet to follow, starting with a solid diet, then liquids and puree only, then the clear liquid diet before surgery. Made my down payment and got the date of surgery reserved on the exact day I requested it to be. Followed my diets and the day finally came to fly to San Diego, California. As soon as I arrived at the airport, they picked me up right outside the door and gave me the VIP treatment. All of the staff here at Hospital BC took tremendous care of me. All the way from pre-op, post-op and monitoring my vitals every few hours and making sure I didn’t need anything else in the meantime. You definitely do not receive care like this back in the states so I’m definitely impressed and so happy I chose Dr. Ilan and his team to do my life changing surgery. The entire process was very streamline and felt well attended to. After surgery I felt great with minimal pain.

Hospital BC is the best. Dr Illan made sure I felt comfortable before my MGB surgery and explained everything so well. He is very friendly and you will love him instantly. BTW he smells fantastic 😊. The nurses and valet are amazing. Anything that you need or want they don’t mind getting for you. Beto was the best. He’s funny and kept me company since I came alone. I met a lot of wonderful ppl. I’m definitely coming back for a MMO once I hit goal. Other places offer fancy themed rooms and make you pay extra for private rooms. The hospital is clean and the rooms are private. You get cute goodie bags of pills, not nasty liquids and a travel bag of a cute stuffed belly and drinks. This is definitely the best hospital experience I’ve had. I’m a RN and believe me the Ca︅r︅e I received was phenomenal.

So thankful to Dr. Ilan and the entire staff for a flawless experience. From the meeting with the cardiologist and lab, xray, and actually meeting with Dr. Ilan and the amazing anesthesiologist I felt so calm and that they were kind and thorough. I researched a lot because as a nurse I know what is important and this Hospital has been an example of how things should be done, how it should be staffed, and how a patient should be treated. Great facility. Great staff. From the time you decide to go to Hospital BC they help you take care of everything. Transportation, hotel stays, medicine and meals for your companion. I mean everything. Dr Illan is incredible and kind. And he has the best and most compassionate anesthesiologist. Every nurse has been helpful, kind and patient. I love all the valets. You can’t go wrong with Hospital BC.

Wonderful hospitality and a top notch service. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The surgery went smooth and i felt almost no pain after the surgery strongly recommended.

Dr. Ilan and his staff has been absolutely amazing. We haven’t had to lift a finger for anything and they are always checking on us. The hospital is outstanding and very clean. I would recommend this Dr. and hospital to anyone.
