Top class treatment: From the moment that you fly into the airport, they are there. The valets are top notch and get you exactly where you need to be. They even check you into the hotel and get all of your bags up to your room. Beto was our favorite valet as he made sure that I as the patient was taken care of always but also that my companion was as well. Once you are at the hospital ( which I must say is the most beautiful hospital that I have ever been too) the nurses take great care of you. Dr. Illan is a master at his craft and your care is his #1 concern and he shows that in every communication with you. I would go back tomorrow, I have that much trust in them!

The Doctors, nurses, and valets were wonderful. The Hospital is very clean.

No regrets...Choosing to come to Hospital BC has been an amazing experience from the moment I was picked-up in San Diego and brought to the hospital. The top notch care by Dr. Ilian, the entire staff and valet has been amazing. Everyone has been so attentive and very helpful. I would 100% recommend anyone considering having weight loss surgery to choose Dr. Illan and Hospital BC for their care.

I wish I knew about this place sooner. Dr. Jalil Illan is amazing and his staff are super helpful. Everything about this experience was absolutely well worth it. I would recommend them to anyone who is scared to travel alone. Don’t be. They are like your family.

This is one of the best experiences, at first I was nervous about having surgery out of the country. But once I’ve arrived from to the airport from the driver to the hospital was 5 start services. My mom just had surgery here and the experience has been amazing. Everyone was very kind and helpful. All the valets are outstanding, they made sure we were taken care of at all times. Beto and Fred are freaking amazing! Highly recommend coming here if you’re considering weight loss surgery, you won’t regret it!!

Did I mention Beto is the best?!! 100/10 best valet!

Could not of had a better experience they go above and beyond in every aspect.My wife had it the same day as I did and my sister in law had it last September. We are all very pleased and highly recommend this hospital!

There are not enough praises you can give to Dr. Illan and his staff. The process from start to finish has been amazing to say the least. Joe and Beto are amazing interpreters for the staff. The nursing team is always so friendly and curious. When you buzz the come to you, unlike some American hospitals. This experience has been life changing. If you have fears wash them away. You will be treated like royalty from the moment you step off the plane. Thank you Dr. Illan for giving me a new start on life.

Found out about this hospital via a friend who gave it glowing reviews. There was a lot of worry of course traveling out of the country to a place were English is not the common language. However, touching down at the airport we have had a personal escort every step of the way. Yhe surgery was great but the staff.is above and beyond AMAZING. Everyone is attentive to your needs even in the hospital you are never alone. Beto and Joe were our translators and I couldn't have asked for better, kinder and attention to details folks helping me.
If you think you might do gastric sleeve surgery I cant recommend Hospital BC highly enough!!!!

Hospital BC has the most professional, courteous, and attentive staff of any medical facility I’ve ever been to. Not only is everyone I came across very knowledgeable, if they didn’t have the answer they found someone who did. They definitely treat you like family here. They’re the Chick-fil-A of the medical centers…. Some people may know what I mean by that. (I’m just saying their staff and facility is great, I couldn’t have asked for better bedside manner) ♥️

Dr. Illan, his team and the whole staff at Hospital BC are absolutely incredible and caring!! They took care of me from the moment I submitted an online assessment for WLS.

I wanted to wait a couple weeks before leaving a review and i'm glad i did. Hopefully this review will be helpful to others who are researching Hospital BC for surgery:

First let me say how impressed I am with the way the staff worked and was organized. Better than almost any US hospital i have ever been to. The moment I arrived I was being taken to do blood work, weigh in, check-in, paperwork. There was almost no wait time at all before being ushered to my private room. Everyone spoke english well enough to have conversations (either basic or in depth).

Surgery took about 45 minutes and everything went as planned. Pain was managed perfectly with the help of the nurses/doctor. I was checked on often for blood pressure and the normal post surgery concerns over the next 36 hours in their facility being being moved to a hotel for one final day. The doctor...

I got done a gastryc sleeve on 2021 and came again just got done a revision surgery 100% recommended great team they make you feel like you are home everyone is so nice 🤗🤗

Great place! The doctor and staff are awesome! They are very informative and helpful. My surgery went smooth and I’m looking forward to starting my new lifestyle.

I got my vsg on 4/21. Everything from the airport pickup, surgery and post op has been great. Dr Illan was great. The staff is wonderful and patient. They help with anything you need. The facility is clean and up to date. Happy with my decision coming to Hospital BC.
