Ok if you are looking for the best surgeon in Tijuana I would say this is the place to go I am from San Antonio Texas and I decided to do the surgery about 6 months ago and I did a lot of research and I decided to choose him as my surgeon. My experience from day one was excellent walking in and just asking if I needed anything I didn't have to carry my bags they carried everything for me anything I needed such as water or pain meds or gas medicine they were on point with everything didn't have to wait long at all they come and check on you frequently not once I had to page anyone for assistance. Even by the comfort of your room I am a very clean person I even check the corners to make sure they sweep and mop and let me tell you it's clean from top to bottom and the rooms not only that you get to set your settings of AC by a remote I like to say very cold so that was very helpful for...

I was a little nervous when I entered Tijuana and found the Hotel Real Inn wasn’t as clean as I expected and the service wasnt great. I instantly because nervous that I may have been making a bad decision of traveling to Mexico for surgery, but once I made it to hospital BC I was greeted with so much kindness. All the doctors, nurses, valleys etc are amazing and informative. My surgery was quick and painless with how great they are at pain management. I haven’t had any issues what so ever. I really love how clean and fresh everything is in the hospital. Dr illan is so kind and have a great positive attitude. He removed my stomach and gallbladder simultaneously so I only had to endure one surgery, whereas in the states they require them to be separate. I feel like Hospital BC is 100x better than the hospitals in the California/ US. Plus you can’t beat the price. Highly recommend!

I just had the VSG yesterday! I’m very pleased with the whole process. Dr Illian was the best, very kind and informative of the process. As well as all the staff. I highly recommend Dr Illian and hospital BC.

Hello! I got my vsg done here at Hospital BC and am very satisfied with everything. Had my surgery 7/22/22. From my personal experience the whole surgery went well, the first day of recovery was pretty rough but other patients had it a little easier. All the staff is amazing and have helped me through it all especially that I came on my own without a companion. I am still recovering but will definitely come on here again and post some before and Afters for you guys! Dr. Illan was very informative and made me so relaxed to put my life in his amazing surgeon hands. Would definitely recommend Hospital BC!

My daughter and I decided on hospital bc after we did the research and we're so glad that we did, it was an amazing experience. Our surgery date was July 18th 2022. The complete staff was absolutely great they made you feel extremely comfortable with no worries at all. The drivers were awesome and make you feel at ease driving into Mexico. The Hospital is very clean and the rooms are nice size. They have room for a companion if you want to travel with one. We would definitely recommend Hospital BC for anyone thinking about bariatric surgery.

If you are doing your research well here it goes. From the moment we arrived our driver to the whole staff the hospitality has been the best by far. This wasn’t a decision I made lightly. But for the first time in my life I need did something just for my self. So with the support of my husband and my two adult daughters I decided to get the mini by pass. The struggle is real with age and not being able to be as active as I once was I knew I needed a tool what would kickstart this new journey. Several attempts since in my early 20s I would yo-yo with my diet. Btw I had two sisters and one sister-in-law who have also been patients here and all I keep hearing was how great it was. I came here for a VSG, and I must say from the doctor to the staff, it was phenomenal 🙌🏾. The care I recieved was definitely top notch, if I could do this again, I would do 100 times over, not only did feel safe, but it felt like family here, and i love that very much. The hospital and staff were amazing! If you are considering having bariatric surgery but are on the fence or nervous about going across the border just do it. Everyone was amazing the from the drivers to the valets nursing staff and of course the surgeon. I have never had a more comfortable stay in the hospital.

I am a companion here for this surgery, everyone has been super professional. My cousin Raymona Jolliff had the surgery yesterday and they have been very attentive to her needs and mine even though Im just here with her. The valets here are awesome! Anything that we have needed they have been happy to help. 100% would recommend this hospital to everyone!!! (FYI) if you dip or chew tobacco bring enough for your trip Mexico don’t sell it. :)

From the moment I landed in San Diego and was picked up by Luis, every detail of my journey has been expertly and compassionately thought out. I arrived at Hospital BC with my companion (my mother💖) and all my lab work was completed for myself and my surgery sisters💖💖. We were then transported to a very lovely hotel by Joe, who stayed to get us all checked in. The hotel staff is amazing and knows just what you need as a bariatric patient. My dinner of a popsicle and broth was delicious. My mom and I ventured out to the mall that Joe told us about and guess what? There is a sears there😃 I hadn’t seen a Sears in years😉 We picked up some souvenirs and walked back to the hotel. We watched a couple movies and went to bed. The next morning we were picked up by Julio for the hospital and brought back to prepare for surgery. I can’t remember the surgery, but it went and we got to see pictures...

The hospital was beautiful, clean and so comfortable. The staff was very attentive and helpful. They made themselves available all the time, immediately responding to a light and any concerns. I couldn't more highly recommend this hospital, Dr. Illan or the staff; from picking me up and making all accommodations to constantly checking on me. I had a revision from gastric sleeve that I had in the states that didn't do anything to mini gastric bypass and cannot wait to see where this new journey takes me. The Facebook page is also very supportive by staff and other prior or future patient. They're all always available to answer questions faster than lightening. If you're considering any weightloss surgery, look no further.

What an exciting experience this has been! Nothing but positivity and encouragement from the moment I was picked up and brought to the hospital.
