Very safe and clean hospital with constant care! I’ve never had this type of care in a United States hospital. The doctors, nurses, and valet were all very kinda and helpful. If I had to recommend any hospital to a bariatric patient this would be the one!

My sugery at Hospital BC was fantastic. The staff was very nice and considerate. They were always at my beckoning call. Dr. Illian was superb and highly prefessional.

Hospital BC is definitely the place to go if you are looking for weight loss surgery. I received better care here than I would have back in the states. Dr. Illan is wonderful and treats you as a family member. The hospital is very clean!!! The staff (nurses & doctors) are amazing, very attentive and accommodating to your needs. Love how they would all say goodnight when they left for the evening. The valet Beto is amazing, he is right there to help you in anyway, checking on you, positive encouragement and translation for you for some of the nurses. The drivers from airport to driving my husband back and forth from hotel, Rene, Fred, Joe, Fernando & Fernando jr. were great and very nice. I’m very pleased with my decision to come here for my surgery and look forward to my new life journey!

I’m again blown away by everything and everyone associated with Dr Illan! I am here as a companion, but I had surgery with Dr. Illan 8 1/2 years ago. The care that my friend is receiving is far and above the care given in US hospitals. You will never feel alone during your stay as the amazing valet Beto will see to your every need! The men who provide transportation are always kind and considerate. Most medical staff are bilingual but if there is a communication issue, Beto is close by to help! I absolutely LOVE ❤️ Dr Illan and his entire team and you will also!

My stay here at Hospital BC has been amazing. The Doctors, nurses and assistants have been in my room every couple hours for any needs and continuous IV fluids. They take the time to listen, answer questions and provide detailed explanations. The care is over-the-top and I would recommend anyone to highly consider this team of experts. Hospital BC was a wonderful experience! The hospital is very clean and modern. The people here were very kind and patient. They were always willing to help. Everyone we came in contact with has been great! All the nurses were very attentive and willing to explain the process. From the minute we were picked up from the airport they have been five stars. Beto and Fred were there to take care of our every need. Dr Illan was great! Same with pharmacy and nutritionist!

Great experience over all. The medical team is on point an 100% make sure you’re comfortable. Dr Illan is very informative and makes sure you feel safe and shows extreme confidence in his work. The valet Beto makes sure you have everything you need and always makes sure you know what the next step is in your stay. The hospital is very very clean and inviting. So glad i chose to come to Hospital BC.

Great hospital, great care, super friendly. Dr. Illan and his staff truly care about all your needs. Beto and Joe were our valets and were always there anytime we needed anything with a smile (even under their mask)! Treated like family and that’s why we went back!

I flew in on Sept 14th and had surgery on Sept 15th! They have been so accommodating to me and my sister in law! Today is Sept 16th and I feel great, no pain whatsoever! If you have been contemplating on getting this surgery, I suggest doing here with Dr. Illan! Beto, Joe and the rest of the nurses have been wonderful! I had gastric sleeve surgery on 09/09/2022. I am already home as of 09/11/2022. I had such an amazing experience. Thank you Dr Illan for the start of my new life! I struggled to find a doctor in the USA because I am “low bmi”. (32.5) But as soon as I found Dr Illan at Hospital BC I knew he was the one! The entire staff was so amazing, thank you Beto and Joe for being so kind, as well as all the nurses who tend to your every need within seconds, and also the drivers who got me everywhere safe. I felt so comfortable and safe my whole stay and I couldn’t be more grateful. ❤️ Thank you everyone!

Let me start by saying if you are looking too loose weight and looking too get a gastric bypass this is the place too go affordable and the best treatment ever they treat you like a king from the moment you walk-in too the end they are very alternative your needs and your surgery I will recommend this place too everyone I know

I just has Gastric Bypass Surgery yesterday and everything went great! From the minute I called to make an appointment all the way till now the day after surgery the staff has went above and beyond! I would recommend Hospital BC to anyone! Very clean and very friendly and attentive to your every need! They assign you your own valet and mine is Beto during the day and Fred at night! Both did an amazing job even went as far as drive my husband to his hotel and Beto picked him up this morning and brought him back to the hospital for me. Lots of staff and like I said everyone is friendly and knowledgeable! Five stars ⭐️ for sure!

It's hard to know where to start, as our experience here has been nothing short of phenomenal! Everyone has been exceptionally kind, helpful, and attentive to our needs! Beto and Fred have gone to great lengths to assure we were comfortable and where we needed to be, and we cannot thank them enough for their kindness! The hospital itself is VERY nice, very clean, and well staffed by excellent doctors, nurses, and support! If a loved one or friend were thinking of having surgery here, I would know that they were in EXCELLENT hands...this is the BEST care anywhere! They deserve 10 stars instead of 5, and there is not a single thing I can think of that would have made the stay better.

The staff is amazing, they are literally waiting outside your room to give anything you need/want. The Drs we very informational and kind and the nurses were extremely attentive. The only thing that could make it better would be a recliner for companions to sleep on so they could extra comfortable as well! Thank you all!

From beginning to end, the entire process was seamless! The communication from each department was knowledgeable and all questions answered quickly. The staff from the doctors/anesthesiologist & nutrition to the nurses and transportation - everyone was so welcoming, kind, and always there at the push of a button. One patient advocate stood out, Beto. He was very attentive and pleasant to speak with and joke around with. I would hands down recommend this hospital to any loved one or friend.

I would highly recommend Hospital BC for your bariatric surgery needs. I came for a revision from vsg to mgb and the hospital staff has been amazing! I did my research and chose Dr.Illan for his ground breaking work with Dr.Rutledge and the MGB procedure but never expected his staff to be so welcoming and helpful! Beto and Pete definitely made me feel at home and we’ll taken care of as well as all the nurses.

I don’t think I have words to describe the exceptional care and team here at Hospital BC. From pick up to drop off at the hospital for surgery day, everything was seamless.Everyone friendly and right there to help me with whatever I needed. I had little to no pain from surgery just had gas pain that the nurses gave me medicine for. So kudos to Dr. Ilan for his rock star work. Beto my valet has been my rock.
