Words can not describe how happy is my family since we found Kids Harbor at Torino , we came from another local Childcare in Port Saint Lucie that our son used to cried everyday, since we meet Ms Nadi ,she went over about everything, she also provide a list to us of things that we need to look for to choose the right provider for my son , we have the oportunity to meet his teacher , but what we love more is their open door Policy

My daughter has been attending this school for two years. This is not her first day care so coming into a new school was hard for my 2 year old at the time. She transitioned fairly quickly and things were running smoothly. Then a new director came in and things changed, daycare students had to wear uniforms, parents weren't able to go to the classrooms to pick up the kids or talk to the teachers. Parents were notified last minute of any school closures or upcoming events. Super annoying for a fulltime working parent. Any issues i brought up to the director seemed to go unnoticed or fixed. You were never really able to communicate with the teachers. And communication between parents and teachers is an absolute must. The teachers are wonderful shout out to Ms. Sandra and Mrs. Blanca!! *PLEASE PLEASE READ*This is my REAL honest review I see a couple of fake reviews by other teachers on here, I was the Vpk teacher Ms.Nene , when I first got to Kids Harbor honestly I didn’t want to stay, the school was very chaotic and the children didn’t have any structure, the children wanted to do whatever whenever they wanted, for example: they don’t call teachers by their names they call all the teachers “teacher” instead of “Ms……” they didn’t know how to play in centers they would just run around and throw toys, and I was also concerned with the other children that were already there, they had no writing skills and they couldn’t spell their names I could tell they weren’t really learning anything, But I stayed

My daughter went here for about a year, no issues. Out of no where, she starts having issues & crying not wanting to take naps. Hard to understand when she did not act like this at home. I was told by owner that I should take my daughters braids out cause they could be causing her to “act out.” Even asking what shows she watches, as if I would put something on that would cause her to act a certain way. Even had a teacher tell her “I like your hair way better like this” after taking her braids out. I thought she had been getting better from the updates, then to be told half way thru the week that she was being “terminated.”

Probably the worst first experience to have with a day care. Has a staff full of workers who can careless for kids emotions. Besides a select view Ms.nene and Ms.Lawanda that actually cared for the little ones no one else really seem to. I would second guess sending your child. Read more >

My kids have been enrolled at Harbor Kids since September 2021. They take great care of my kids and have erased all fears of my kids being away from me. This daycare had space available when my family moved to the area. But with time we began to realize why the turnover rate wasn't so great. Please avoid the issues that will consume your life and affect your child's happiness if you choose this daycare. When my child started at this daycare, my child was happy, smiling and excited to attend. But when the daycare experienced transitions with staff and leadership my child began to smile less and less. One morning I watched my child walk in with a toy. The staff member snatched away the toy and then my child began to cry. When the staff member noticed I was standing there and saw everything, the staff member tried to give the toy back. Im truly blessed to find this place for my child, he has been in 3 other places before and the difference between all of them is humongous. Starting on how clean and organized the place is from front to back door, all kids on every classroom no matter what time of the day are spotless clean head to toe. Providers are the sweetest, as parent I think we can all see when a person is child friendly or not, I’ve seen the way they treat my child but more importantly how they treat others and im very comfortable with the staff. The director is I would say extremely friendly and very strict on regards all matters which has a lot to say on how serious and responsible she is and how things needs to run, she has multiple monitors of all areas and they are also visible for parents. Very clean daycare . The staff is amazing with my daughter and she loves them ! And they send numerous pictures and updates throughout the day so you are always kept in the loop .
