You might want to shop around, the quality of work is lousy. February 2024 my father had water damage that we discovered in his kitchen and a bathroom just off of the kitchen. The water was between the floor and subfloor, and had been there for quite a while leaving a mess. Service Master in Flint Michigan was hired to clean the floor and was considered to replace the floor as well.

Service master sent a crew out to do the work, but they left linoleum pieces on the floor, 50 to 70 screws sticking up, nails and staples. The kitchen is small, 12’x10’. Service Master charged my 84 year old father $2,700.00 for the garbage job. My father, typically would have raised hell, but my mom passed away in January 2024, and he was still grieving. He did call and ask for a supervisor to come out and look at the job. The supervisor would not come out, but sent the crew back to correct... Read more >

I recently went through a pipe breakage and had service master come out to dry out and remove contents. All I can say is they knocked it out of the park, I could not be happier with the way the team came into box, clean up and remove the contents out of the basement. Service master did do the water removal with all their equipment. But never removed all the damaged floor. When they returned to get their equipment I was told they couldn't do anymore removal because the floor was dry. The damage was there when they were removing the floor initially. They also removed boards in the crawl space and now I have to find someone to repair that problem. I have called the company but no one calls back. The lack of followup is unacceptable.
