House Buyers of America - just the name is compelling, and the TV commercial put the worm in my ear. After losing my wife 21 months ago I had a few medical episodes. My doctor recommended moving out of the house, soonest. I needed a minimal stress experience and remembered the "no hassle" ads from House Buyers. I had already accepted that the stress of keeping a 3500sf home was contributing to other health issues, so downsizing was another reason I decided to sell.
Choosing House Buyers was a simple and easy choice. After doing some research into companies that buy homes as-is, House Buyers had the best closing percentage, and had the best reviews from previous clients. The real estate consultant was very helpful, answering all of my questions in a timely fashion and very proactive. The Settlements coordinator was also very helpful with the process, making the transition very easy. The folks there are very pleasant to deal with, and they really made the whole process easy. So for anyone needing to sell their house, especially if you need it done on a short, fixed timeline, I recommend House Buyers.
