I wish I could say that this review is for my entire experience. Honestly my experience with selling my home was not a great one to the point where I almost thought this was a scam. It was one person that saved this experience for me and that was Anita Crystal. She empathize with the fact that this was my first time selling a home. She took time to listen and explained the process and held my hand through it all. I know I probably wasn’t the best to deal with at time but Anita dealt with my anxiety like a champ. These 5 stars go to her!

Amanda Shilling was very helpful and understood my anxiety navigating the sale of my home after nearly 25 years of homeownership. She stayed in touch with me and followed up with me after the closing to verify that everything went smoothly. I'm very appreciative of the service she provided.

The staff was very responsive and efficient in moving through the process. The closing went smoothly and I didn't have to spend a dime getting the property ready for sale.

I was ready to sell a property but it needed work, which involves both time and money. House Buyers of America made a fair offer and accepted it as-is. Their team was professional and we were able to close the deal the next month.

From the initial contact I had with Drew who was my Real Estate consultant, to finally reaching close with Anita, my settlement coordinator, the process was pretty smooth and easy. There was a slight delay but Anita stayed on top of things with the Title company to be sure they completed their process.
I would definitely recommend HBA if you are in the market to sell your home.

They were very easy to work with. They gave us an estimate and then came for an inspection. We didn't have to worry about anything. No realtors or closing costs. They took care of it all. Even left things in the house that they got rid of.

Rating House Buyers of America, Inc. is easy! Needed to sell a property in slight disrepair, so searched a business that buys and sells properties. Came across HBoA on the internet, did a bit of research, they’ve been in business for over 20yr. Filled out their on-line form providing information regarding the property, how much I was expecting to sell for, etc. Received a call from a representative to discuss the property in further detail. Received an offer for the property a day or so later, and I accepted. Sale offer was pending a thorough property inspection, upon completion of the inspection, the offering price was lowered, which I expected as much knowing that house Buyers of America’s goal would be to maximize profitability, no surprise, however, I was not willing to accept their second offer, but negotiated with Philip for an agreed upon price. I recently sold my first house with House Buyers of America and it was a very positive experience. The team there - Philip Shade and Amanda Shilling were extremely kind, helpful and quick to respond to what was a very nervous first time seller. I had some family problems that made me delay the sale longer than initially expected, and Mr. Shade kept in touch but I never felt pressured.

I would recommend House Buyers of America to anyone looking to sell a property with a minimum of hassle and at a fair price. I appreciated their genuineness - I did not get the slick, pushy vibe from them that I got from other companies trying to buy my house.

I also appreciated that they worked with a very competent, communicative title company.
