Throughout the multiple programs I have engaged in with HAC, I've been able to elevate my mindset, gain control of my emotions, and utilize skills that I already possessed. The environment of HAC provided me with a safe place to flourish and empower positive attributes that I believed to be flaws. HAC did not teach me new things about myself, but rather they provided clarity and exposed light to all of the "dark paths" I chose to take. We tend to be in denial when we've done something "out of character". HAC forces you to take the mask off, but only if you are willing to embrace and better your true self.
