We are so happy with Hidden Fence of Minnesota. We purchased our fence just recently for our german shepherd puppy. They responded to our request promptly and we scheduled an installation date. Charles, our installer arrived on time and explained everything clearly to us. He was very friendly and professional. during his time with us. He walked our dog around the yard by the fence and explained to stay back. He taught us how to do it as well. Our dog loves being outside without a leash. Hidden Fence got back to us right away when we inquired. We had an appointment set up within days. The installer showed up right on time. He was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the product. He showed us exactly what to do as far as training with our dog and went through the steps of setting the collar several times until we were comfortable with it. It has been the biggest blessing. We looked into Hidden Fence about a year ago and got lots of great info but decided to hold off and train our dogs with an e-collar instead to stay in the yard. But with 3 kids and winter and having very active dogs (German Short Hairs) we needed a way to keep them in our 2 acre yard.

So we recently decided to have Hidden Fence installed and it was a GAME CHANGER! Our dogs (2 years old and 6 months old) quickly and easily learned the boundaries. The technician who came to install was VERY thorough and asked many times what questions we had. They were very responsive and I think I was most impressed with their customer service and follow up. I contacted Hidden Fence after I was unable to get service from one of their competitors for my existing system. After a frustrating experience, I contacted Hidden Fence. Within 2 hours of my call, I had received a quote from Hidden Fence (very reasonable and detailed) and was able to schedule an appointment for a little over a week later. When the installers arrived, I walked the perimeter with them and within a couple of hours, the system was installed. The training was straightforward and is supplemented by Hidden Fences online resources. Hidden Fence was fantastic to work with. Excellent response to inquiry, questions, service and installation. We had what I considered a possible difficult installation and they made it work just perfect. Actually allowing for a few extra feet for our Dog.
They showed up on time and the install crew was great to work with and did a very nice job inside the Garage where the controls are mounted. Excellent job with instructions and training on the Collar and offer additional training if we needed it. Turns out our Dog adapted very quickly and now makes it extremely nice to just let him roam the yard and not bother the neighbors.

The company was very responsive. I received a phone call within about an hour after my online inquiry. They also had quick availability for an install unlike the other companies I had been communicating with. The tech/installer that came to our property (I wish I remembered his name), was great. He took the time (probably 35 - 45 minutes) to survey the property, to discuss with me options on installations, and was very thoughtful and helpful about making the decisions. After he did the install, he was generous in his time about talking to me about the system and teaching how to do the dog training. I did not get any efforts at up-selling by the company which was really appreciated.

Putting in an electric fence for our dog was one of our first priorities when moving to our new house. We had to change our move date several times, and Hidden Fence was super flexible and easy to work with. When we first put in the fence our dog was timid and pretty afraid to approach the fence - even at the first, training level. The Hidden Fence team were great at coaching me how to do "safe yard training" to make sure my dog has a good experience. It didn't take long before my dog was exploring and loving her new yard.
