I hired Gutter Ethics to clean my gutters on February 21, 2025, and was very impressed with the service. John Lawmaster, the technician who came out, was incredibly knowledgeable and provided the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. It’s rare to see a tech who’s not only skilled but also so professional and courteous.

Today (May 13), after it had been raining all day, I decided to check on the gutters and noticed they didn’t seem to be working properly—possibly clogged again. I sent a text message at 7:56 PM, not expecting a response until the next day since it was after hours. To my surprise, I received a call from the owner just one minute later, at 7:57 PM! He was extremely responsive and said John would be out as soon as tomorrow to take another look.

I used Gutter Ethics and was really impressed. I seldom write reviews but if you need some type of service on your gutters these are the people to call. They are professional and proficient. John called me before he arrived and went work immediately. After he finished I met John and asked him how it went. He went into detail describing the problem and how he rectified it. I was surprised to know that even though I had screens on the gutters there was about 15 years of silt and granules from the roof tiles and that's what was causing the problem. He also resecured the gutter because I had some nails that needed attention. John performed a roof inspection and I'm sad to say that my roof should've been replaced 5 years ago. I'm the first to admit I'm a little more impatient than most and typically more critical than a lot too. With that said, I was blown away with the customer service of everyone I spoke to at Gutter Ethics. The technician came out, told me what he was going to do and told me when he was done. Justin the owner took the time out of his busy day to not only contact me once, but twice! To thank me and to go over a little bit of what they encountered when on the roof. He was very detailed and spoke in terms that a non expert could understand. Would definitely recommend.

Justin is always so kind and responsive to any request I’ve made over the years. He went out of his way and was able to fit in a last minute job for us. Melvin did a wonderful job clearing our roof, cleaning the gutters and making a small repair. He knocked on the door to confirm the work he was going to do, and asked if he should leave when work was complete or let me know. I reviewed the work and the area looked pristine! Melvin had bagged all the debris and left the area around our roof spotless. Thank you for being such a consistently excellent company.

I had the gutter cleaned recently and was happy with the service and the company. They followed up with you before and after the service to make sure you are happy or have any questions. Highly recommend them! I also have them scheduled to clean annually.

Gutter Ethics was very responsive to a last minute gutter cleaning inquiry. While we ended up not getting service after all, the team was very understanding when we cancelled an appointment and made a strong case for going with them for future needs. They weren’t pushy or trying to upsell.

The only thing I did not like was having to wait three weeks for the work to get done. But once it did, it was great service and worker was kind and informative.

Quick response, professional job. Very Expensive. When you do an urgent/emergency mitigation like I had for a hole in the roof, make sure you understand the estimate doesn't include any actual repair. I had to call for a repair estimate and it took over two weeks to get one due to their communication system problems. By that time I had used another roofer.
