Functional Nutrition Resources has changed my life for the better. Before finding this program I struggled daily with fatigue, brain fog, bloating and irritability. I tried dieting and nothing was working. Within a few weeks of starting the program I could tell a major difference in my health. I now have so much energy and can keep up with my kids. So far so GREAT! I wanted to address my autoimmune issues (RA and secondary symptoms) by improving my diet, and to avoid medications if at all possible, I just didn't know where to begin. FNR's 'food as medicine' approach and focus on finding the root causes of my issues aligned with my goals. The step by step instruction and education has made it easy for me to start feeling better fast. I am 2 months in to the 6 month program and already seeing noticeable reductions in all my symptoms. The team is always helpful and encouraging, and provides lots of information and resource material. I'm looking forward to learning more and continuing to feel better as I move through the program. This is truly something I couldn't have done on my own.

Every thing you do is harder when you are not healthy. Maintaining a strong energetic body is a priority for me. My orthopedic surgeon recommended Functional Nutrition Resource to me prior to my total knee surgery.

I had gone to several doctors and "nutritional" places over the last 5-6 years. I know most of them were well-meaning, but nothing they provided seemed to work or help me. I was just sick and tired of being sick and tired! The difference with FNR’s program is, they actually let me call them, and message them, and ask questions! And they are super nice about it! I finally felt like someone actually cared – and “held my hand” through the process. Bad eating habits won't cure themselves overnight, or in a few months - but I believe I have the tools that will help me going forward! My A1C is down over 2 points in six months and cholesterol was cut in half! Other labs are falling into line.

When I first began working with FNR, I was overweight, had digestive issues—gas, bloating and constipation, achy joints, and was regularly waking up at night with leg pain and not sleeping well. Working with FNR gave me the confidence and personal commitment to stick to my eating plan, even when it was challenging. The nutritionists were super supportive and great at answering my questions and personalizing my treatment plan. My follow up blood work 5 ½ months after the initial labs showed that I had dramatically lowered the thyroid antibodies and brought my lipid profile into better alignment. The horrible gas and bloating disappeared. And a great side effect was that I lost 18 pounds! Seeing these results have inspired me to stick with the healthy eating plan.

April 2020 in the midst of the onset of Covid my Aunt Becky invited my husband and I to a Facebook live informational segment.
