When I started this journey, I was so tired of all the medical doctors telling me they don't know why I'm hurting, and the only thing they want to do is give you pills, or surgery. I haven't been able to lose any weight. And my joints were aching all the time. My fingers, we're getting stiff, my neck was so swollen looking from inflammation and my blood pressure was high. I just didn't feel good! It seemed pointless to go back to the same doctors telling me the same thing with no results. After much prayer and crying through pain, I called functional nutrition in Owasso. They were so nice and actually listened to me and was glad to see that I didn't want to take medication or surgery and wanted to take my health into my own hands. Lost eighteen pounds.My blood pressure is back to normal and my joints don't hurt. All in 5 weeks, of eating better, and all the motivation and compassion they give. My husband is even eating the same way to encourage me. God is so good, and I am so thankful for this group of beautiful souls who actually want to make a difference in our lives!
