It all began with a phone call to see if they would allow a blind man to pitch a baseball and sing the National Anthem. They did. Today, I am traveling all over the country to visit minor and major league baseball teams and continuing to pitch and sing. The Field of Dreams inspires you, and it is where your own Field of Dreams can begin. I feel this is where I took my first steps of an incredible journey. You need to visit. Maybe I'll see you there....who knows Field of Dreams may be the beginning of your journey. I hope so...It was for me. Robert F. Smith

Pretty cool place that every fan of the movie should visit! It doesn't change much over the years and there is still a baseball diamond.

Recently toured this great site again AND got to see the wonderful house inside!! A special thank you and shout out to a "Betty" who is the tour guide and historian of this beautiful place!!

My family has taken several trips over the years which have included the Field of Dreams. I have made day trips with my wife and visiting friends, taken our children and grandchildren. It never disappoints. It's free but donations are appreciated and purchasing souvenirs helps keep it going. He did build it and e keep coming! Plenty of other things near by to help fill out a trip to eastern Iowa.

When in Iowa, we love heading to Dyersville and the Field of Dreams! First time was years ago on Spring break and our car got stuck in snow!! It's really in the heartland of the midwest.

Solely for the nostalgia, seeing the field and house was worth 5 stars. Bring a glove and bat for the real experience. There is not really the freedom to play catch or hit balls if others are at field because everyone kind of has to cross paths which can get dangerous with flying baseballs. Staff just kind of hung out in the gift shop located in middle of parking lot. Definitely a great place to visit tho. I went with my wife and 2 kids and we enjoyed it.
