Vincent was very professional and thoroughly explained all the paperwork. He also let me know if I have any questions, to feel free and call. He had nothing negative to say about the company and he took time to make sure I understood the inspection. He showed me pictures while he explained what will need maintained often.

Jordan was very thorough and went over the entire house, pointing out all the great things and what needs improvement or fixed immediately. He made it very easy to comprehend and we felt like we got all that we paid for.

Vincent was my inspector. He did an excellent job. I'm purchasing a duplex and it's pretty old. He inspected it tip to bottom. He spent at least 4 hours taking pictures and through notes..... he also gave advice on what to do next regarding repairs. I would use him again

Erie Inspection Service was great to work with from beginning to end! We called on a Monday, and our inspection was able to be scheduled the very next day. Brooke took care of all the phone calls and any other scheduling that was needed. Jordan was very thorough and professional throughout the entire inspection. At the end, he explained everything in detail and we felt very comfortable asking questions or asking for additional clarification if needed. We were presented with a binder that had colored pictures and every last detail of what was inspected throughout the home.

Erie inspection went above and beyond with the home and pest inspection I received. They checked all appliances to make sure they were working and checked serial numbers for any recalls. Erie inspection spent time at the home I am in the process of buying, and spent time with me. They explained their findings and catagorized everything so it was easily understandable. A very thorough inspection was performed at the property my wife and I plan to purchase. Although the inspection cost $700, it will likely save us $3000 in repairs.

I questioned whether a home inspection was necessary on the condo I was purchasing because it was very clean, well kept and nicely maintained. But realizing I am no expert I decided to go ahead with one. I was very glad I did. Almost everything checked out satisfactorily, but a scan (infrared?) Todd performed in the first floor living room indicated moisture in the ceiling right under the second floor bathroom. It turns out there is an apparent leak in the area of the bathtub plumbing. There was absolutely no visible indication of any problem prior to the testing performed by Erie Inspection Service.
There is no telling how long it would have taken for enough moisture to gather in the material of the ceiling for part of it to collapse. And who knows how much might fall or who or what may have been under the debris.
The cost of the inspection now seems minimal to the...
