Epic Dog Academy

We took our dog Jackson to Epic Dog Academy about a month ago because we were having problems with his reactivity while walking. Our only regret is that we didn’t take him sooner. When we picked him up two weeks ago, we thought they gave us the wrong dog. He was so well behaved and responsive to us it was game changing. Today the owner Vince came by to do a follow up and help us with some of our techniques. He was so kind ,and unlike some dog trainers he actually knew how to talk to humans. We will continue to work with Jackson each day and I’m sure it will just get better. Thank you Epic for giving our dog a new lease in life.

My puppy Alice attended training in October 2023 . She came home well trained and behaved. Unfortunately the owner got a little lazy. Today we went back for refresher. There is never a charge for this . It took a short time working with some great trainers to get Alice back on schedule. It took additional time to get me back on schedule. Both owner and Alice are back on good behavior. There are other trainers but I’m glad I chose Epic. Professional Friendly and Your dog comes home to a happy family

Great place to have a dog trained! I rescued a dog an needed help. I called Epic Dog Academy for help! They sent someone to my house to evaluate the issue. I signed up sent him for 13 days an got a totally different dog. Very top notch operation and very friendly. Office staff is amazing in keeping you updated about your dog. This is a Veteran Owned company. You definitely will get your moneys worth. My dog is a Cane Corso

We were researching for dog training and we are so happy that we found Epic Dog Academy!!! We were working through a slew of issues with our pup. He had severe separation anxiety, was not good with other pups and when company came over he was a jumper. He was also a massive leash puller on walks.

After he completed the program and came home, his progress has been astounding. Olivia and Vince have continued to give support and Neo is so much better behaved. They have helped train the humans how to work through Neo problems and how to maintain his training at home.

The best part is that Neo loved them. Seeing your pup know commands and listen to you was a huge thing for us!!! I am so glad that we took Neo to Epic Dog Academy. If you need help with your pup, RUN don't walk your pup to Epic Dog Academy!!! You will be so glad that you did!!

About 3 weeks ago we had an 8 month old puppy who yanked, jumped up on people and dogs and was an ‘unruly teenager’’. We did not look forward to taking him out on walks. Trying to train him ourselves was very stressful. After the two week board and train program, we have a dog who we take pleasure in taking for walks and to the beach etc. He obeys the commands. We took him to the first available group class after training and could not believe how good he behaved.

Confirmation that our dog is happy. Firstly he is not at all hesitant when we place the training collar, in fact very patient while we figure out how to put it on correctly, and most importantly when Kyonia came for the home visit our dog was soo happy to see her he wanted to follow her home!!!

Not only were we given a very comprehensive session before we took Oakley home, but also on the home...

Our family has an easily frightened old dog. He struggles a bit when he goes to the groomer, but not when he goes here. They treat him like an old friend and he leaves feeling like a King. We are so appreciative of the whole team. They take care of our little Ollie and make the whole experience a pleasure.

The difference with my dogs behavior before and after Epic Dog Academy training is nothing short of night and day. We used to be stressed out to take him to a restaurant because he was so reactive towards people and other dogs, and since getting him back his behavior and attention are placed diligently on us and what we’re asking him to do. The biggest benefit, though was for him, he can finally relax and be a dog. He’s no longer on guard and constantly anxious all the time.

Epic Dog Academy has been so amazing and helpful with training our dog. My dog actually listens and is so much easier to take for walks. I really appreciate Kyonia coming for an in home session so I could ensure I was still doing things properly. Now that we’ve done the in home visit my dog no longer acts crazy and jumps on visitors. He’s able to stay in place and be calm. Kyonia also helped me with a quick refresher on proper “heel” techniques. Thank you for all your help! Due to EDA and Kyonias training/interventions we are able to keep our dog and not look into rehoming him. Our dog’s progress through EDA has been so helpful. I highly recommend their services.

High recommend for dog training and grooming. Firstly, let me give a huge shout out to Kyonia and Christy for being amazing individuals! 😀 Kyonia helped train my 3 furbabies and helped me understand the process of continuing with it at home. Christy has great customer service and it's a pleasure talking to her. She listens to me rant on about my dogs. Princess, Lady and Hercules went to doggie school here June/August 2023 and ever since, they behave well in public and have gained confidence. Ofcourse it takes time, practice and patience. One thing I do feel will help after, is keeping up with the commands everyday. I also really like getting them groomed there because they are caring. It's a good feeling knowing that the staff there know how much my dogs mean to me and they look out for there best interest.

Ryan was extremely helpful and professional and really helped us understand how to properly use the commands and reinforce Rex’s training. I know Rex enjoyed seeing Ryan again too! Ryan answered all of our questions and helped us address specific situations we have in our household.
