I adopted Sookie, a two-year-old bully mix, from the shelter, and within her first week home she began showing signs of separation anxiety. Sookie started the Honor Roll Program the following week. Throughout her training, her trainer Erin kept me consistently updated on Sookie’s progress. Toward the end of the two weeks, Erin recommended keeping Sookie a little longer because she needed some extra help — and I truly appreciated that honesty and care. If Epic Dog Academy didn’t genuinely care, they could have easily sent her home, especially with the holidays coming up, but instead they did what was best for Sookie.
