Epic Dog Academy

Grayson is my first dog. Boxer breed, high energy, eager to please, clever and so stubborn I sometimes think we're related by blood. Natural good boy, but he won't fake it for anyone. Our experience with Epic has been great.

Depending on your level of separation anxiety, you might feel communication is lacking, but you are welcome to reach out directly for an update. It's very evident to me that the time and attention was spent on my dog. After 2 weeks boarding all of the work I already put in has clearly been reinforced. It's amazing to see him so attentive while I'm giving him commands, but watching him not bark or jump on people is actually insane.

I'm sure every training journey will have its own challenges. Ours has been 5 stars and looking forward to working with them more.

We recused Lulu from the shelter, she was dropped off at night at the night drop. She was abused & growling & nipping. She went for training with Erin & she did a great job with her. She doesn’t nip any more & still learning all the commands. But we’ll be working with her at the group training on Saturday’s. Vince and Olivia are the best to work with and genuinely just good people. They’re very honest even and hold you accountable to working together. EDA has been fantastic. Their board and train program was thorough, consistent, and transparent. We missed our dog like crazy while she was there but EDA was deeply committed to her success and we never had to wonder if she was in good hands. Their ongoing support through group classes and in-home training sessions has been incredibly valuable as well.

We recently adopted an older dog and it's been so cool to see her personality evolve with the confidence she's gained through training. She's happier, healthier, more self assured, more curious and explorative. Their trainers are very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about working with animals. We're really happy with her progress so far and we're excited to see her continue to thrive.

We did the two week board and train, which seemed to have been a good experience for our 8 month old rescue. We’ve seen some improvement in his behavior but it’s a process and we’re still in it. Make sure you’re willing to put the work in at home to make the whole thing worth it.

Epic did an amazing job with my dog. She was very much out of control. She was biting, jumping, grabbing anything she could find. She has turned into a nonbiting dog that actually minds! I think they have done a great job. I tried on my own but I was unsuccessful. I am still working with her but now she pays attention to me.

I adopted Sookie, a two-year-old bully mix, from the shelter, and within her first week home she began showing signs of separation anxiety. I was nervous and didn’t know what to do, so I reached out to Epic Dog Academy. They scheduled a same-day consultation, which immediately made me feel supported.

Sookie started the Honor Roll Program the following week. Throughout her training, her trainer Erin kept me consistently updated on Sookie’s progress. Toward the end of the two weeks, Erin recommended keeping Sookie a little longer because she needed some extra help — and I truly appreciated that honesty and care. If Epic Dog Academy didn’t genuinely care, they could have easily sent her home, especially with the holidays coming up, but instead they did what was best for Sookie.

I am beyond impressed with the work that Epic Dog Academy has done and continues to do. Alicia was Gigi's trainer for the 2-week program. Gigi learned so much and has shown amazing improvements. Ash came over to do the home visit and helped teach/show me how to implement the training exercises and commands. I realized that I needed training just as much as Gigi. Gigi listens, responds to her training collar, walks like a champ on the leash, and has learned to play gentler with our other pup who is much, much smaller. I love the option for continued group class that is offered bi-weekly. The socialization and continued practice with implementing the training has been a blessing. I need to share my experience because there’s a lot of misinformation going around about Epic Dog Academy. If you’ve seen those Facebook posts linking them to animal abuse - please, don’t believe them. I fell for those rumors myself at first, and I want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake.

I had signed my dog, Obi-Wan, up for the two-week training program and was so excited. But right after I told a friend, she sent me a Facebook group filled with terrible claims about EDA. I can’t say enough good things about Epic Dog Academy! They completely transformed my Belgian Malinois Archer Before training, he was very timid and reactive, but now he’s focused, obedient, and still has that great Malinois drive — just with structure and control.
