England Family Mortuary, Inc.

On December 29th we used England Family Mortuary for our mothers cremation service. They were very professional and caring. Nothing could have been better.

But I will say that the team here is heart-felt, compassionate and have been a blessing in the darkest hours of my life.
I can not express how they helped to diminish the agony that i was already experiencing as I had to go though this process.
I highly recommended them.

When my grandmother passed away in her sleep at home we were completely lost as to what to do. After calling England family mortuary their honesty, patience, and thoughtfulness made it abundantly clear my grandmother last wishes would be fulfilled. My family and i could not have asked for a better group of people taking care of my grandmother during her last leg of life.

Simply put, if you want honesty and patience during a difficult time look no further they will take care of you as if you were family.

Josh, Janet, Chris, and Greg were exceptional and my family and I would always be eternally grateful for their care.

My husband passed somewhat suddenly in December 2 weeks before Christmas. At only 54 years old it was the absolute worst experience in the life of our family. Since we were in San Diego at the Cancer center when he passed, my sister and mother had to quickly do the initial research on how to arrange the funeral quickly since so many of our friends and family were not local and we were coming quickly upon the holidays making travel that much more complicated. Josh was amazing, he laid everything out so that it was easy for my sister to communicate as soon as we got back to town. I was able to meet with Josh the next day, finalize arrangements and we had the service on Saturday after my husband's passing on Wednesday. Apparently as funerals go, that is incredibly fast! My family and I would love to share the immense gratitude we have for Greg, Josh, and their staff at England Family Mortuary. My husband passed away December 1, and from the moment we contacted them until the funeral was over, our experience was exceptional. They gave us the gifts of time, comfort (thank you, Winston!), respect, and sincerity during this difficult time. I am still amazed that Greg attended the service at RNC, and will always carry the image of the Navy seal on the hearse that showed their support. What an amazing group of people!!! Thank you.

A friend of mine called today and asked if I could recommend a good place for a funeral service. I immediately recommended England family morturary. We needed their services 8 years ago when we lost my mom and sister within three months of each other. I'm sorry that it has taken this long for me to write this review. They were absolutely wonderful with us. We were blown away by their kindness, patience, compassion and professionalism. They took care of everything for us during that terrible time for our family. I have known Josh and his family for nearly 11 years. I have had several occasions to honor and celebrate the passing of a life through England Family Mortuary. In all cases, Josh and his parents were so respectful and honored the deceased and their family with faith, grace, and respect. I was most touched by how they supported the family of a student of mine who suddenly and unexpectedly lost her father. She was only in 2nd grade. They helped her through the viewing by letting her wait in a special room with me until she was ready. They are so sensitive and thoughtful.

England family mortuary is the absolute best family owned mortuary. They were very patient, understanding, and caring when assisting my family during a very difficult time in our lives. Burying a family member is a very emotional process and the England's helped us all the way through!

England Family Mortuary made going through what is such a difficult and traumatic time, much simpler and less traumatic. They are knowledgeable and compassionate, truly kind.
You don't wish that anyone has to go through the death and dying process, but we all do and you will be truly thankful to have England Family by your side to help navigate through this difficult time and process

Recently My Client passed away whom I cared for everyday along with his wife. The morning of his passing we called England Family Mortuary and they came as soon as possible, they were very respectful, compassionate , and gave us time to say our last good byes. They were very helpful in explaining our options and took us step by step on every decision. they answered every question we had, dealt with all our arrangements and documentation. Greg was very reassuring and gave us all the time we needed to set up for the service, they let us basically do things how we wanted. We had asked Greg if he could say a few closing words at the end of the service, and everything he said was just beautiful with a little humor and very light. I recently suffered the biggest loss of my life when my twin sister passed away. I was completely shaken to the core because of it. I had no idea how to go about dealing with and planning her funeral. The England's came to my aide without hesitation and with complete compassion and heartfelt,sincere sympathy and understanding. They literally made all of the arrangements and supported me every single step of the way. This is not just a business to them! I have personally know Josh and Greg for several years. We attend the same church and are deeply devoted to helping others- I lost my mom last April and every detail was explained and discussed with us. Everyone there showed and expressed their sympathy. They handled paperwork for me with Social Security. They are not into up-selling you. They are there to help, ease, and comfort you. When and if the need arises, I would recommend giving them a call.

These People were kind, patient and very respectful. While we changed the service procedures several times in the course of planning, they were nothing but gracious and rolled right along with us. With more than 300 in attendance, they made any adjustments needed. My warmest thanks to these wonderful people.
