Eastern Title and Settlement

We had a unique property description situation where the recorded plat and the deed description had a minor discrepancy. Eastern Title identified it during the title search and corrected it before closing. That's exactly the kind of thing a title company should catch.

the refinance was for our primary residence and the closer came to our house on a tuesday afternoon. everything was in order and we were done in under an hour. smooth and convenient.

Settlement in Rockville for our townhouse purchase. Documents were accurate and the closer was easy to work with. The session was short because the preparation on both sides had been done well.

Our commercial refinance involved a balloon payment calculation that needed to be verified against the note. Eastern Title had the calculation confirmed with the lender before the closing date. That kind of pre-closing verification prevents problems at the table.

four properties through eastern title and the quality is the same every time. they communicate, the documents are right, and the closings happen on schedule. that consistency is the reason we don't look elsewhere.

We had a closing that required a power of attorney for one of the buyers. Eastern Title reviewed the POA documentation ahead of time and confirmed it was acceptable before we scheduled the session. That preemptive review meant we didn't face any surprises at the table.

first investment property and the process was smoother than i expected. documents were ready and the closer was organized. felt comfortable asking questions and they were answered clearly.

Eastern Title has been the title company for every property I've bought or sold in Maryland for the past several years. The experience is consistently good. Responsive team, accurate paperwork, and closings that run on time.

Our refinance had a tricky payoff situation involving a home equity line that had been used and partially repaid. Eastern Title calculated the per diem correctly and confirmed the payoff amount with the lender before the closing date. No surprises at the table.

We were purchasing a home while simultaneously selling in a different jurisdiction. The coordination between the two transactions was handled well on the title side. Both closings happened on the same day as planned.

Amazing service! Professional staff, smooth closing process, and very accommodating. They can close at your location.

Three refinances over ten years and this was the most organized of the three. Documents came through ahead of schedule, calls were returned quickly, and the closer was prepared when they arrived.

Another amazing experience with Eastern Title! Deanna was organized and on top of everything throughout the transaction, Min is always incredibly responsive and helpful, and Robert did a fantastic job at closing.

This was especially meaningful because we were working with first-time homebuyers. Robert took the time to explain everything clearly and made our clients feel comfortable and confident with what they were signing.

As an agent, it means so much to have a title team I can trust to take great care of my clients. Thank you, Deanna, Min, Robert, and the Eastern Title team for another smooth closing! Highly recommend!

Very professional. Closing was a piece of cake!

very quick turnaround on our refinance. documents came through and teh closing happened within the window our rate lock required. efficient operation when the timeline actually matters.

The settlement was for an estate sale property. The documentation requirements for estate-held property are specific and Eastern Title had them prepared correctly. The closing happened on time despite the additional document requirements.

I will be a returning customer for sure! Lola made the process very easy and she helped me with all my questions. Ben was very helpful during the settlement. When I had questions or concerns Ben was quick to answer them. I would highly recommend Eastern Title as a settlement company.

Eastern Title coordinated a closing that required signatures from parties in two different states. The document package was organized so each party only reviewed what applied to them. That coordination across locations was handled without any confusion.

Our refinance was on an investment property with a tenant-in-place lease that had to be disclosed. Eastern Title incorporated the disclosure correctly and the lender had no issues with the documentation.

Josh Greene came to our office for a commercial closing and was clearly familiar with the transaction. He had reviewed the title commitment before the session and the closing itself was efficient because the preparation was done before we sat down.

three times with eastern title. same quality each time. organized, responsive, and the closings happen on schedule. that's the version of a title company you want to stay with.
