Declare Wellness Center

I love Declare Wellness and give them thanks for helping me to commit to a new life style. I just want to express “one” very important impact that women need to know and may change their life as well.
To help clarify I will be giving some background. I am a 64 year old woman who had a complete hysterectomy at age 20. So I have been on several conventional Hormone Replacement Therapy’s on and off for many years. Trying to find something that worked for me. About age 40 I gave up and went to natural supplements etc. Due to vaginal dryness/ atrophy, relationship with my husband were painful and infrequent. Finally I went to a doctor for help. He prescribed an estradiol suppository to be inserted, again painful and occasionally would not even dissolve. It also caused breast tenderness. I went back and was told to use more lubricant and try a new treatment, not approved yet. It consisted of the office inserting a tube with laser lights for several weeks. Insurance would not cover and my husband said no to it. So I used various lubricants and lotions for several years. I divorced and have been celibate since 2015. The dryness became so bad it hurt to even walk! So again I reached out to a doctor. This time I was given estradiol cream to be inserted. Again painful. Then I started having breast tenderness again. So I stopped it. I decided I would just have to learn to live with it and I did.
This past September my best friend took me to a seminar that Declare Wellness had on thyroid. In November she actually paid for me to go through the program with her. So we could support and encourage each other in our new lifestyle changes. The 1st month my blood work showed very low hormone levels. Not a surprise. So I was prescribed estradiol and progesterone tablets and testosterone cream to apply topically. As well as other supplements. Within a few days I noticed physical changes in my “private” area. As a result, I am no longer relying on lubricants just to make it through a normal day!!! I was shocked and surprised because this was not on my list of concerns at all.
So ladies, we don’t have to suffer alone in silence. Dr. Cohen has shown me that times are changing and there are options that can really help.
