I would like to thank Dr. Cohan and his wife for all the research they did, because they cared about what they saw happening to the health of all their patients. I have learned how to be healthier and choose a new way of life because of all the hard work he and his staff did. It is life changing, and I now have all the tools to help with my fitness, nutrition and new way of life which has helped with my overall health. I sleep better, I have no more joint pain, I lost weight and as a result lowered my blood pressure and have more energy to be the person I am meant to be. I recently completed the three month program at Declare Wellness. I went to a seminar last June, and it took me until September to decide to do it. I was feeling very tired during the day with a sluggish thyroid. I just turned 71, and I want to be the best version of me possible. I want to maintain or gain muscle strength and just feel better overall. After completing the program, I do feel more energetic, and stronger. I have the energy to play with my grandkids. I no longer constantly pop sugar free candies into my mouth all day long, and I'm not hungry between meals. I felt I knew a lot about nutrition, but I learned a lot more. Dr. Cohen and his team are topnotch. He really cares about each of his patients, I went into the program because of my Thyroid, I was sluggish and cold all the time. I also wanted to loose some weight which in the 3 mo. I lost 15lbs. and my Thyroid was better than ever before, The program is vigorous for my body and wanted to give up but stuck it out. I loved my experience with Declare Wellness Center. I came to the center after seeing an ad on Facebook. Because the ad addressed the effects of hypothyroidism on one’s life, I was interested, having been plagued with the effects of this condition for years.
I came for the Seminar, and it sounded promising.
I had Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis for almost 20 years. I was on Synthroid but I never felt really well. I was chronically tired, (probably because I didn’t sleep at night), overweight, had no energy, and depressed. I had brain fog often and difficulty focusing and concentrating. Even though I struggled with it for years, the last year or so had been particularly worse. I got no relief from my family practice doctor or even my endocrinologist. I came in for two things, to get my skin to stop having a rash and redness and to lose weight. Well, I got rid of the redness because through the three month program I learned I’m allergic to eggs and that was causing my skin to have a rash breakout. Next, I didn’t think I lost a pound but it turns out I did lose 6 pounds but I gained bone density and still lost 6 pounds according to the scale I got on in the office. My experience with Declare Wellness has been nothing short of awesome. I’ve been with Dr. Cohen for a few years and he has taken me from being a hormonaally challenged train wreck to being in optimal health. My blood panels were somewhat a mess and now they are normal. Dr. Cohen is the only person who has taken time and understands how to correct physical ailments without the use of drugs. I love Declare Wellness because they are a team of people who look at healing the whole person. I initially came to Declare Wellness because I had already gone to 4 different Hospitals throughout the US and had not gotten any better with my Chronic Illness. All of the hospitals and doctors that I had seen were awesome men and women who genuinely cared about me and my wellbeing but could not help me with my situation.
