The Goddard School

We love the Goddard school. Both our kids (4 1/2 and 2 1/2) go here and they both love it. They are always doing fun activities and I like that they keep us informed of what is going on with newsletters and daily updates through an app. The teachers and all the staff are very friendly and professional, know all the kids by name and are always happy to answer any questions I might have. Highly recommend this school.

My son is enrolled in the gecko pre-k class at the Goddard about five months now and it had been an amazing experience. Prior to that, he was with a private nanny. It was a tough transition as he had extreme separation anxiety which was heartbreaking to watch, but after a week, we saw him thriving and smiling again. The change was alot quicker than we expected.

The front staff has been welcoming and helpful with all my questions, which reassured my decision. They update us regularly on things that are happening.

The teachers have gone above and beyond, you can tell they enjoy what they do and remain calm during conflicts which helped the transition for my son. The Goddard School on Frate Barker in South Austin has been wonderful for our daughter. The building is clean and well maintained. The staff have great tenure and attitudes. The management is transparent and communicates promptly when things come up. You must bring your own lunch, but they do serve snacks throughout the day. (edited for grammatical errors)

My son Anthony has been attending The Goddard School since he was 8weeks old and now is 3.5 and we have had a wonderful experience. The teacher are welcoming and very supportive. The environment is warm and so very colorful. My son is always excited about going to school in the morning and sometimes we have trouble getting him to leave. My husband is always empress about how much he has learned and the information he comes home with. All we see is growth in our son every day. We are so proud and grateful our son is able to attend The Goddard School in South Austin.

Our experience at Goddard has been amazing. The teachers and staff are raising our kids and loving them day in and day out. Communication is top-notch. Pick up and drop off is secure and easy. They even handled a global pandemic with very few shutdowns. Parent Night Out is a nice bonus! What else could we ask for? We never worry about our kids at Goddard and we have total confidence in their systems, policies and people.

Our family’s time at Goddard has been great. Both my boys were there for about 8 years. The school is safe and clean. The curriculum and activities are top notch. The teachers and admin are consistent, knowledgeable and professional. They truly have been an integral and irreplaceable part of our village in raising young children. My boys have been happy and healthy in their care and learned so much!

The saddest part of moving out of the South Austin area is having to leave Goddard. Our daughter has attended Goddard since she was 7 months old and truly thrived during the 20 months that she was there. Highly recommend Goddard as a place where you’ll confidently leave your child knowing she will be in a thriving environment surrounded by caring teachers.

The school is well managed with great staff. My son comes home happy and healthy and is learning so much.
