It’s almost like one day I awoke from a bad-dream and realized I had bad credit. Ugh! I didn’t intend to have bad credit; no one deliberately wants bad credit. But, here I was in mid-life with bad credit. That was not where I expected to be in this stage of life. I knew a few people in financial services and asked for a resource. Thankfully, one of my contacts had a brother who helped people like me. I called. We talked. He provided a plan, a way out. A way to a better future. I followed Chris’s advice. Credilife was completely responsible for assisting me resolve my credit issues resulting from my divorce and delinquent student loans. Mary and I are now proud owners of the property at 98 Western Avenue, Essex, MA! Closed Monday after a good bit of back and forth, but in the end have a 30 yr fixed conventional loan at 5.25%, with 5% down, and no repayment of the Wells Fargo or Advanta obligations. We are paying significant PMI, but plan to re-appraise the house and refinance within a year or two after I have applied some TLC and further outlived my credi thistory.
