Using Condor Moving was a positive experience! We moved our storage unit from Houston to LA with ease and peace of mind. The sales representative was the first person to contact me and answer all of my questions and concerns via email, before speaking with me over the phone. I have a toddler and it was much easier to email over the week then spend 45 minutes on the phone. I sent photos to her and she helped me complete my list of items. Once I decided Condor was the company we solidified our agreement on the phone. No pressure, just an extremely helpful woman. The items were packed securely and moved across the country in a timely manner. The truck did come a couple of hours later then expected, but the 3 movers unloaded the truck with a great attitude and put together several pieces of furniture for us. I recently did a cross country move from Texas to the East Coast and I have nothing but good things to say from the start with the agent who initiated contact, the scheduling, pick-up to the crew at delivery destination. Never doing business with them again. On the pickup day, I was advised to leave the couch since it was in ok condition and was told that I can call their office for quote readjustment to get the reimbursement for that. After 5 days, I got a call from delivery saying that he would be there Sunday night 4 - 8 PM. Obviously, the guy doesn't show up; neither replies to my calls and messages. He calls next morning to schedule delivery between 9 AM - 12 PM.
I was even more disappointed when I saw the condition of my shipment. The boxes were so smashed up that contents were falling out. Floor lamp lost. Heavy scratches in many items. Mattress box torn etc etc.
The next day, I called their office for price readjustment for couch and to file claim, I was shamelessly told that they would not readjust the price because this was a binding contract and cannot be changed. F**** THUGS.... Read more >

I used Condor movers twice last year. I am now going to use them again for my move to Florida. In an industry that is known for problems I must say that Condor was EXCELLENT. the quote given to me was what the move cost. They where very careful to not damage my items or my NEW ceramic floor in my new house. These people are simply the BEST. Thank god for Condor Movers.

I called to get a price quote. As later decided to move ourselves. The move took place on December 12th and I just received another call from them today. I get so many calls that I've blocked the number. This type of aggressive maketing is absolutely uncalled for. Especially when I've told them we did not need their services 3 times! DO NOT...I repeat, DO NOT use Condor Movers. We moved from the Houston area to Washington DC about 5 months ago. We chose Condor because their representative lead us to believe that they were one of the most reputable movers in the are which included full replacement value for any damaged items. The move was a disaster from the start. The movers showed up and proceeded to pack and tag our items. Little did we know that another team with the truck had to arrive separately. The second team wound up arriving almost 5 hours later than the time we were told which meant that they were there until almost midnight packing up our house. When we arrived in DC we told Condor that the complex we were moving into had restrictions for when trucks could be on the premises, 8 am-5 pm. Of course, the same moving team was late...AGAIN. Moved 1000#'s of furniture to California from San Antonio. Picked up July 5th and arrived July
15th. We had fragile tables along with fragile items packed in boxes. Movers on both ends were professional and courteous. Only giving 4 stars because we had everything ready to go and they had to put us off a week, so we were unable to use our dining room for a week. I wish there were 10 stars to give this company! I was looking online for a moving company and finally clicked on give me a bid. The first call I received was from a darling lady named 'Kim' with Condor Moving Systems. I told her I was in need of moving right away as I was in a bad situation in the home I was living in. I was terrified of the owner of the home and was under extreme duress.
Kim was supportive, VERY polite and professional. She got back to me on the same day with a wonderful reasonable quote and I locked them in. I was called back the next day by the dispatcher that was also wonderful!
I gave them a little insight as to what I was going through at the house with elder abuse and they called me back with a date 2 days out from when I called.

Worst response received from these guys,Booked for moving my home goods more than a month before and in last minute they are saying "we cant take the stuffs now and it will be delayed by 4 days, i dont have the house lease till then , and also asking additional charge from me saying that they have to bring movers from Houston , actually which is not our burden,this shows how they treat customers I would say not choose these kind of movers who make hassle in last minute. The sales staff were friendly and helpful but, in my opinion, not entirely forthcoming about the price. As someone who had never moved before, I relied on the judgment of the staff to estimate the weight of my apartment given my inventory. Turns out they are either terrible at estimating the weight or intentionally undervalue the weight to make the sale. Either way, **the actual cost of the move was MUCH higher than what was listed on my binding estimate**. Furthermore, the delivery team was rude (raising their voices at me!) and unhelpful. They bickered with me on delivery about the number of stairs included for "free" and about the distance to my apartment. Had I not had the contract in front of me, I would have been bullied into paying an additional $200 on delivery for nonsensical surcharged.

Never, ever ever I use moving company, specially CONDOR MOVING. They send me a price for $1400. I call them, and I said "I know this price is not fair, because my furniture is heavyweight, I explained every single item I had. They change the price for $2100!!!
When they came to my place for loading, they said you have to pay $340 more!! I paid them. When they came to my new place for unloading their truck stuck in our entrance apartment because of the small bump. Really small. Their truck had a big box under the truck. That's why the truck is stuck. They said: I have to pay $200 more for long distance unloading (50 feet more). I had a lot of complain on the phone, and they give me discount for $100
It was so funny. All my boxes was damaged, my coffee table had a big dent on it. My drawers was broken, and 1 box lost. Don't trust to this company. Read more >

Don't use this company!! First they jacked up the price 30%. They changed my moving time three times. Then they said my house wasn't sanitary enough for them to move me -- my sweet dogs were upset about moving and peed on two of the boxes. How dare they treat me like trash. Read more >
