We used them to move from Dallas to Colorado, very sad we did.

They started by arguing with us that they could fit our stuff in a smaller truck then we requested. Come to find out, that is the only truck they own, and they didnt want to rent a bigger truck.

So they show up, 3 hours late, with a crew of 4. One of which never got off his phone, causing arguments between him and the crew chief, delaying work more.Took over 7 hours to pack the house, previous 2 moves were done in 4 hrs. They excessively used cheap tape on everything, including sealed boxes and sealed container, but don t worry they will bill you for it. Then took everything we owned out of the shade of our garage, and moved the same piles in the blazing sun, to sit. They then tagged literally everything with another sticker with a number. I would have scored 0 but they refunded my TV that they broke in transit. A fractional recovery to an appalling service. They sell services they can't provide and promise the world and deliver a stone.. subcontractors who picked up my stuff were excellent, the middle piece by condor and the delivery were shocking. Emit cannot keep to his word and as a result of my experience I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Absolutely horrible service, I would give them negative stars if it was possible. To start, they are so friendly and have amazing customer service, letting you know that your stuff will be well taken care of and will arrive on time in great condition.

To put it frank, it only got worse. I scheduled my move months in advance and kept being told that the stuff will arrive on a certain date +\- 1 or 2 days, which I understood. A few weeks before I called again and they told me not to worry, the truck is going to be loading soon. A few days before they said a truck is loading now. Come to find out it was a bunch of lies, my stuff didn't arrive for nearly 9 days after its scheduled date. It was so frustrating because the people on the phone kept lying.

If I could go lower I would. What they did to me and my family was highly unethical and should be illegal. It was a clever trick however. They packed my boxes 1/2 to 2/3 full. They charged me by space not weight, so it seemed like I had a lot of stuff. I complained so the they weighed it so they could charge me by weight. After the weigh in the manager replied with a "you caught a break because with all these boxes it should be a heavier load". Oblivious to why this could be I accepted the cost change. Upon arrival I realized most of the boxes were not filled all of the way so I was still over charged for boxes. Of course, things were missing but none more important than a cooler that the mover asked to have and I said no only for it to still come up missing. My company does relocations all the time for new hires from all over the world, and we came across this company to do a move from Texas to Florida, 4 bdr house. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone ever!!! Since the beginning, (Day of pick up), the moving crew was supposed to be at the house in the morning, but called and said the truck was having some mechanical issues and they were going to arrive late. The crew showed up at 9pm and finished around 5 in the morning. One of the crew members advise that the truck never had mechanical issues, it was just that there wasn't a crew ready to come in and complete the move. Also advised that their storage was in Florida and when we decided to move the shipment out of storage to the new home, which we thought it was going to be quick as the storage was supposedly were the house was, again LIED, NO!!! Worst Moving Company EVER! The only good thing about this company is MARIO, but then after that process its horrible. My contract says they were to be picking my items up on Sunday, they wait three days before my move to tell me they can't on Sunday when i specifically told them it had to be Sunday because my lease ends Sunday. The operations manager JESSE was the worst and sarcastic. He gave me no option or even tried to fix the issue. I was surprisingly told to ask the front office if i could extend one more day or i would have to find a different company even though i put a deposit down. None of those options were helping me only them, i finally talked to my front office into extending one more night and they said yes but there would be a charge. so i called the company back and they said they could only take 40 off but anything higher would have to go through approval???? i... Overall, this company is very professional and did a great job. I read other reviews with over-charging. My advice is, when dealing with this or any moving company, do your homework, read the contract, and make sure you are accurate with the quantity and dimensions with each box and non-boxed item, as well as the distances/steps the movers will be carrying your stuff. Also, be sure to box your mattress and TV. If not, they charge extra for those items. Read more >

Should not be in service at all---most of our furniture was damaged. Details of service were not discussed before sealing deal; beware they will hold your "broken" furniture hostage for an additional fee of $750.00 once it does arrive. Had to spend several days in hotels waiting on my furniture; now having to wait two to three months on a claim. Which by the way is a pain to file. Now going to file with DOT because Condor claims to not be a broker but my furniture arrived in a United Van Lines Truck with a driver who hired two teenagers off craigslist to off load my stuff. Condor moving is the best moving company out there! I was very very pleased with their service. I was calling around to different companies to get quotes and I kept getting quoted over $1,000 for 6-7 hours! I don't have a big house so I didn't understand how I was being quoted so much. I called condor and was connected to Mario Middleton. He was amazing! He quoted me about 3.75 hours totaling under $600!! I was very pleased so I went ahead and booked. He arrived well on time with his crew and was very fast and efficient. They uploaded and unloaded everything in just under my quoted time! While still taking apart my bed and building it back up. Things changed after we agreed to the move, the pick up date was moved due to the addition of a late minute high profile client. The truck was too small after TWO visits to the house by the owner to see what needed to be moved. They damaged the upstairs door way to the tune of $250 and it took a couple of months to get the money for the new home owners.
After they had my furniture they tried to change the delivery date and the cost but we won that argument.
As we continue to unpack we find more and more things broken, dented, and scraped. I pulled a piece tape off the for poster bed and part of the post came with it. Today we found collectable figurines thrown on a craft chest with NO packing what so ever. They did not survive!

I was given a moving quote 2weeks ago and signed a binding contract with Condor and have my 10% down just as asked. Today 72hrs. BEFORE our move I get a call saying there's been a $500 "clerical" error!!?!?!!! We have already made plane reservations, and all other arrangements for this move!!?!! An extra $500 is not budgeted for this error on YOUR part!!?!! What can be done?? Nisrine Gal was a HUGE help in keeping contact with me throughout the process. She explained everything and made adjustments to my quote as I told her what I did and didn't have after finally getting packed. The gentlemen who came to pick up my stuff and the two that actually dropped it off were also very well mannered and professional. While I didn't have a large house they treated my things with great care and moved them to where I directed the pieces to go. I recently used Condor for my move from Houston to Austin. From the time of booking through the actual move, it was a very pleasant experience. Mario handled all of my needs prior to the move and then Anthony was the foreman for the three man crew on the day of the move. They arrived at the scheduled time and dealt with a very rainy Houston while loading my stuff. They worked very efficiently and had my three-story townhouse loaded very quickly. The pricing for my move was very reasonable. The moving crew showed up on time, was dressed very professional and was a great crew to work with. They destroy furniture! We paid extra to have them "professionly pack" some items for us but they carelessly threw cardboard around our bed, tables and mirrors. For example our bed, which completely fell apart in the middle fo the night, less than a week after it was reassembled by the movers, is broken. They screwed their own screws into the bed (after losing the original), left they broken nails they put in our bed and broke supporting joints. In addition; dishes, glasses vases were shattered. One mover even dropped a box when unloading it from the truck and we all heard the crash (no efforts for remensaliation were offered). Our living room set, made of high quality, sturdy, solid wood has been beaten and deeply scratched. They packed and threw around our belongings without concern.
