I have had a great experience with Condor Moving Systems. Joanie provided the best customer service. She was meticulous with the inventory list, thoroughly went through the items and the pictures that I sent her and even found the listing for the house I was moving from and looked at those pictures to get the lay of the land. She responded to every email and phone call and her manager even got involved with providing valuable information. This was the worst company Ive ever dealt with. They tell you what they think you want to hear, and then stick it to you. When the trucks pulled up to my house, the lead guy told the rest of the crew " these people are rich, were going to make alot of money today." The crew was instructed to use as many boxes, and as much tape as possible to run up the bill. They look you in your face with a smile while lying through their teeth the whole time. Furthermore, they wasted hundreds of dollars on additional packing materials, yet nearly all of our possessions were either damaged or completely broken. This was probably the worst experience from beginning to end. They totally misrepresented themselves saying that they would handle our move with care and deliver my sons furniture with their own trucking company. The first problem was Condor said they would be there in the morning and they arrived late in the day. Then when they loaded the truck they told my son it would be double the price....now you're over a barrel. The truckers did not give my son a bill but they left with all his belongings then the next day they threatened him saying they would give away all his stuff. We offered to pay by credit card they insist on cash or cashiers check this we were charged 2% more. The whole time we were dealing with their henchmen not the sweet salesperson who signs you up. THE INITIAL TRUCK LOADING
The pickup crew for this 1200 mile interstate move was good except for some minor damage to the home during the truck loading. Condor refused to pay the very reasonable $50 repair because the damage was found by the realtor a few days after the move.

It all went downhill once our possessions were loaded!

- The price on my Bill of Lading was over 40% MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE.

- The Bill of Lading and subsequent billed amount were different, they grudgingly removed the extra charge.

- Every credit card payment contained a 2.5% “convenience fee.”

- If you pay the last installment upon delivery, they only accept CASH or POSTAL money order.

My invoice said I would get my stuff within 2 weeks, so I only packed 2 weeks worth of things... after the two weeks were up my stuff came A WHOLE EXTRA MONTH later. I called asking about where my stuff was & where they were in the process of delivering my stuff & the woman said “she didn’t know”.
They promise they’ll deliver on “your time”, however, the movers called me 4 weeks before & said “maybe they would make it by Friday evening by 5 or the next day.” They would call me soon to let me know for sure. So Friday gets closer 8 I call them, nobody answers, therefore I assume they couldn’t make it until the later date. Terrible experience! 1. They did not show up on the day they scheduled to pick up the items to be moved. 2. Original delivery spread of 2 weeks was missed. Items eventually were delivered ONE MONTH after pick up. 3. Communication was TERRIBLE. I told the answering service that I was reporting the goods stolen since they were not delivered and no one was answering our calls. Only then did I get a return call. 4. When goods were ready for delivery they said we had 30 min to get to the house even though they were hours early. They hung up on us! 5. Delivered boxes are in TERRIBLE shape. Awful company. Price I was quoted at doubled upon completion. Their response was extra hours. Of course there will be extra hours when you don’t have employees that understand and follow directions and bring items they were not suppose to. They even brought a garbage bag of dirty diapers that was by the trash from the old house to the new house. Didn’t place our large safe where we wanted it. WORST.. I will never recommend this guys even to people i hate. Delivery was not on time. The independent contractors(who delivered at Atlanta) literally threatened me to sign the initials though there was broken and he escaped with the paper. When i was talking to my wife about something he is stopping and asking what you guys are talking. He put up the TV Box horizontally at the bottom and three heavy boxes on top it. TV broke and he claimed it is a picture box. They broke the recliner, TV table, Suite cases, moving boxes , TV. broken the box spring, mattress. We are so thankful we chose Condor Movers to move us. 7 Months prior we had a horrible experience when a past partner paid Byron Cowling Moving and storage - a local Lubbock moving company to move us to Lubbock. We were told the company was run by an honorable “good ole boy- Christian” we could trust. Byron Cowling Moving was not honorable or professional on any level. Byron Cowling Moving destroyed our belongings, moved items they weren’t supposed to touch and then hid damage they caused when they moved our irreplaceable antiques. They damaged our home and business in the process and moved items they were not to touch!!! In addition Byron Cowling Movers charged us for multiple blankets they did not leave in our storage unit to drive up our cost and lost hardware to furniture they partially dismantled furniture making it fragile and then broke off pieces.

The moment this company came to pick up our belongings I knew we were working with a shady business. The moving guy bribed us into giving him $100 cash so he can personally pocket by threatening to increase our already agreed upon contracted price. They picked up on 12/29 and it was promised by 1/15 at the latest, well the date came and went and they could never tell us when our items would get there or where they were. Mind you, we moved from Texas to Florida with nothing. Our items FINALLY got there on 1/24 nearly a MONTH after. I had buy work shoes, clothing, take my dog to the vet to get his medicine, get my own medications re-prescribed, etc.

First, the only reason I gave stars is to complete this post. Please do not pay attention to the number of stars because I'm still in the process of completing a move with this company.
Now to the point...I've currently run into some major bumps with Condor. It seems as if the departments aren't on the same page--one departments says one thing while others says another. So far, this has resulted in me being charged an overage of 1,300; however, Emmett (manger over operations) was very helpful with clarifying things. In addition, he knocked off $500 of additional fees. It would have been great if he could have taken off more (at least down to the original project overage fee of around 660). Nevertheless, I'm thankful for the help Emmett provided.

This company did not take any responsibility for treating my things with care when moving. Every box labeled "fragile" or "this way up" was delivered upside down. Several things were missing, they scratched my floor, knocked plaster off the walls, and generally did not care. My claims were reduced below the deductible or they were dismissed completely. Horrible! DO NOT USE! LIES FROM THE beginning with the cost, the time frame of delivery and our belongings changing hands three times in the 10 days it took for us to get our things. We had water stains all over or 5000 dollar sofa. Our boxes also had roaches throughout when we unpacked either the warehouse or the shady trucks had an infestation because we did not when we packed our things or ever for that matter.
