This company takes you items to a warehouse where it may or may not be stolen and no matter what date you needed your items delivered it won’t be delivered on time. They immediately increased the price after already being paid in full for an estimate and contract over the phone. The owner is rude and will try to get money from you in any way . I don’t think he is honest. They also lease out other companies to move you items. They made my move the worst experience. DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Btw I’m still waiting for my items to be delivered. Loaded on 10/25. It’s now 11/1. They also offered for me to move my stuff myself at drop off or they can give cash to friends that move it at the drop off. Huh? I paid (over paid) for you to load and unload. The owner refuses to answer my call now that the driver is on his way. The extra that we have to pay was decided and is now being disputed!... Charged twice the quoted fee for “extra room”. When our boxes and furniture arrived, most of it was damaged despite paying for additional space. Boxes were ripped, tv damaged, wooden furniture with holes and duct tape to cover damage. Owner and customer service blew off phone calls for several days. Also, the truck arrived a month later than the date we were given. Took 5 months for a claim to be processed, and still waiting on reimbursement for not even half the damage. I should have read the reviews before hand. I scheduled and begged over and over to get the movers to my house at a decent time and date to no avail due to hurricane Ida being in the area. They finally showed up, moving slow and wrapping things in a order that I didn’t ask… so they had to stop and unwrap. A estimated $2,000.00+ job turned into a $6,000.00+ job, and on top of that myself and my two sons help this guys 4 or 5 man crew unload the truck! Condor Moving Systems threatened us, lied to us, tried to charge us $1600 extra for items we didn’t have, and broke, lost, or - we believe - stole over $1000 worth of our possessions. I cannot warn you strongly enough to stay far, far away from this company.

On pickup, once the truck was packed, the crew chief, David, came to us (myself and my partner) to review the inventory he'd created on a tablet/iPad, as well as the revised estimate and bill of lading. When we looked over his inventory, we found many items on his list that we didn't have. (Most notably, he had claimed on his inventory that we had 5 air hockey tables. We do not have any air hockey tables.) We asked him why he had listed the air hockey tables, and he said he did not know. DO NOT USE. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. They charged over double what was quoted and added many charges after paperwork was signed. They would not return phone calls or emails. Very unprofessional, I am shocked they are still in business. Once the truck finally arrived (took over 3 weeks), they didn't show up the day scheduled and didn't call to let us know they weren't coming. It took an extra 3 days afterwards with no notification. I originally found Condor Moving Systems while researching companies for a long term move from Dallas to Atlanta. Sarah was super helpful on the front end and doing a quote and getting the service scheduled. I booked about a month in advance so followed up a few times leading up because my HOA is pretty strict about scheduling the freight elevator and certain moving day. Fast forward to the day before scheduled move…I get a confirmation call with the schedule block. Next morning, I get a 2 hour cancellation notice and that “someone will be there tomorrow but we can’t tell you a timeframe yet.” Not trusting they would actually come (and yes, they will comment that the paperwork I signed granted a 48 hr window so shame on me but just make sure you know that because they aren’t going to tell you) I found another company that came the next day, handled everything.

AVOID THIS MOVER AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!

Let me start by saying I work as a nurse and my husband as a cop. We are very used to dealing with people during the hardest times of their lives. This mover, during one of the hardest times in MY life (very short move time due to emergency health issues), made a hard situation exponentially worse.

Every preparation/inventory and insurance step was skipped by this company. I was told they would call 3-4 days out to finalize our moving inventory and get a more accurate price: NEVER happened (we had to make contact at every turn and were put off at every turn.) We were told we would be offered insurance, we were not. The movers put a 2 foot long gouge in our wall as they moved and the foreman of the job refused I deal with the situation, saying only “ make a claim.”

I used Condor Moving for my out-of-state move from Austin, TX to San Francisco and could not have had a better experience. This move was a complicated one with a lot of moving parts, and as a result I was really stressed out. Emmett and his crew went above and beyond to put my mind at ease. They were extremely communicative and responsive throughout the entire process - something you won’t get using other shipping services. They arrived on time and were extremely respectful and thorough with my belongings, tagging everything and taking diligent inventory. They were so efficient, worked carefully but quickly to load up my stuff, and were greatly consciousness of my time. Everything went smoothly as possible.

We had them set up for move and gave them a deposit. They sent me a text less than 48 hours before moving day that said our move was canceled because they were backed up with moves. No alternative offered. Still no refund on the deposit. Read more >

The absolute worst experience ever. Arrived 5 hours late with a truck that was too small. Ended up packing until 1:00 AM and had to return the next day. China was broken, guitar was lost. Don’t let them pack for you… daughter’s items were all dumped into one giant box. Photos, artwork, lamps damaged. Read the fine print… there’s almost no way to be compensated for damages. I contacted Condor moving approximately 8 weeks ago to schedule a move of my office from east Texas to the metroplex. They notified me less than 24hours prior to their scheduled arrival time to let me know that they would not be coming and that the earliest they could come was 3 days later. The only explanation I got was that “it was because of the rain”. I can understand that rain impacts moving people, but to wait until 1230pm the day prior to my scheduled move to notify me is just wrong. Anyone moving understands that there are multiple moving parts that need to be coordinated and bailing out at such short notice has a significant and costly ripple effect. The “boss” Amit Gal was conveniently unavailable to speak with me. Completely unprofessional business practice deserves a poor rating. I'm not sure where to start. Paid for a full service out of state move from TX to NY. No boxes were labeled, additional fees tacked on last minute, driver showed up 4 hours earlier than expected which normally would be fine but when you have to leave a meeting because you weren't aware it is not a good thing. Would highly recommend going elsewhere. Oh, and make sure they let you know in advance if they have to change to a smaller truck - that'll cost you an extra $450 in cash. Condor Moving Systems was hired to move my family out of one property on January 29, store our items for 2 months and move us into our new property on April 9. We completed the quote process and stressed the point that we have been underestimated in the past. We asked how often their quotes are missed and we were ensured that it is rare and the miss is usual a few hours of labor. We were quoted $2,188 and estimated $476 in storage. We were charged 13 hours more! The final price ended up $3,751.57 and storage at $754. There was a lack of communication between the sales team and dispatch as they were not prepared to move us out. The extra hours are not accurate. We brought this up with the office and they stated that we were charged for the actual hours used.
