My LASIK procedure with Dr Cohen was great. I was nervous once the speculum was used, however, the stress ball I was given along with the kind assistants, one who practically held and rubbed my hand during the entire procedure (which lasted no more than 15 minutes), helped make the overall experience a calm and quick. I’ve never been happier being able to read AND also see distance without glasses. Finally no more tension headaches from glassed/ contacts wearing. I would recommend Dr Cohen and Cohen Eye Institute to anyone looking to have corrective eye surgery.

When looking into a Lasik surgeon, I did extensive research to find the best doctor. I wanted someone experienced, board-certified, fellowship-trained, and patient when answering my many questions. Dr. Cohen went above and beyond with his professionalism, attention to detail, seamless surgical work, and skilled hands.

Originally, I was interested in Lasik surgery. However, as I was not a candidate for this procedure, I received an alternative procedure, photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) - which I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cohen for. Dr. Ilan Cohen came highly recommended for LASIK surgery through my circle of friends as well as one of our friends who is a doctor. The LASIK procedure was easy and painless and the result was amazing. I went into Dr. Cohens looking to get LASIK surgery done and from the moment I walked in, to even now a few days after the surgery, I felt right at home.
