I’m very happy with the surgery results, also Dr Ilan Cohen is a very caring doctor. The only thing I wasn’t too happy about is that my appointment was at 11:30 am and I didn’t get out of there until 5:00 pm.

FROM my 1st visit to the Follow up visit after Surgery 5 stars... the explantation of the surgery And what to expect was exact as explain that for a scary cat like me it was well calming experience. Thank God for modern technology n people who take the time to share with patience. The actual surgery was faster than, expected n staff were very attentive n with a smile that calms your nerves. The surgery itself along with Gabby, the nurse and everyone who worked there were professional and kind. I felt that I was in good hands. However the fiasco about the transportation was upsetting. I was fasting for almost fourteen hours and that made me sad abs hungry. Transportation is only within Queens and I live in Manhattan.

Dr. Cohen and his staff are wonderful! From scheduling the first appointment to addressing your needs. I had cataracts and they needed to be removed! The types of surgery available are a far cry from my parents and grandparents surgeries! I was anxious and confused. The doctor and his staff spoke with me and my family to make sure we were comfortable in our decision as well as very detailed instructions pre surgery and post op. My care had exceeded my expectations! With one eye complete the left eye was worse it was done first I am confident though, and can’t wait to get the right eye taken care of the end of June. Everything went well they pick you up and drop your home after surgery, the nurses and anesthesiologist were all very nice and attenative. It would have been nice if I would have gotten at least a hello from the doctor that was about to cut into my eye but with that being said the overall experience was good and I will be back in a few weeks to do the other eye.

I recently had LASIK surgery with Dr.Cohen and his team, and I honestly can’t believe I waited this long to do it. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and surprisingly quick. The consultation was thorough—they explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions, which really helped ease any nerves I had.

The actual procedure took less than 15 minutes, and I was seeing better almost immediately. By the next day, my vision was crystal clear—no glasses, no contacts, just perfect vision. It’s still wild to wake up and see without fumbling for glasses.

The staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and they made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Recovery was easy, just a few days of taking it easy and using eye drops.

Dr. Cohen is the best. My surgery went very smooth. My vision is excellent now. I had surgery on both eyes over psst 5 years. Cannot thank Dr. Cohen enough for everything.
