Just finished my 1st semester with Citizen Cafe and must say they surpassed my expectations. This is not a standard language school where you would follow a textbook or some useless grammar structures. Instead, they put an increased focus on spoken Hebrew which is great because just after a few classes I realized I was becoming to understand some people on the streets of Tel Aviv. I loved my teacher Mickey and Yossi is a real star of the practice groups. Practice groups bring a huge additional value to the whole course. Can't wait for the next semester!

Citizen Cafe gives you the kick in the butt, the confidence, and the love for Hebrew that you need to really truly learn it! I, and the people around me, have noticed a great improvement in my learning only after 6 weeks of classes.
The feeling of sitting by a Hebrew-speaking dinner table and understand 50-60% instead of 20% is truly amazing and I can't wait to continue to reach 100%!

I wish they taught all new immigrants when they come to Israel. Would have made my life much easier if they existed when I did Aliyah in 2011. Easily said, if I speak any Hebrew it's because I learned it in Citizen Cafe. Highly recommended.

I love how expert all the teachers are, how helpful and enjoyable the homeworks are (watching Isreali shows and doing my own recordings), how alive each class feels, and really just how every minute in class feels valuable!

I wish I had found Citizen Cafe years ago! The group I was placed in is perfect for my level, and the supportive atmosphere makes learning easy and fun. Wonderful teacher and the approach really works. Great way to meet some new people too. 😃 I highly recommend this school!

I tried a lot of Hebrew schools before Citizen Cafe and I can't recommend them more. Their teachers are amazing, the classes are extremely dynamic, and they actually taught me something I didn't think anyone could- confidence to speak!
