Citizen Café Tel Aviv

I completed two semesters at Citizen Cafe TLV. I like the teaching method and the teachers who keep the students engaged during the lesson. I tried different online apps to learn Hebrew. But those classes are really made a difference. There is a variety of zoom classes times, it is easy to find one that fits my life style. The classes are small and everyone gets a chance to speak up multiple times. During the class we learn the words and then repeat them in different sentences to understand how to use them. At the end of two semesters I leaned to use, write and understand more than 700 words. I am very thankful for this opportunity to learn Hebrew. Can't wait for the next semester to start!

After many many years of not learning, I decided to learn Hebrew, since my son has moved there.
The classes are small and the teachers are very patient. Besides learning, there is a lot of laughter and the group feels like a supportive community.
There are additional study sessions available to compliment the homework.
I have learned quite a bit and look forward to learning more, in my next session.

A bit expensive, but definitely worth it. I just finished my third semester (I have done Orange, Yellow, and Lime levels so far) and I have learned so much. I have tried other classes before (including Ulpan when I was living in Israel) and CitizenCafe has definitely been the most beneficial. The teachers are really great and the class sizes are nice. I am currently a teacher in the states and actually use a similar style teaching model with my English language learners, so it has been really nice to see how beneficial it is from the learner side.
