I loved Citizen Cafe Tel Aviv because I learned to both express and understand practical information from the very first session. Ido, my instructor, was the absolute best! He was patient, supportive, and clearly cared about our success. I looked forward to our lessons and seeing my classmates with whom I quickly became good friends. The homework reinforced what we covered in class and encouraged carryover and generalization of the material. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in learning Hebrew in a fun, meaningful way!

Citizen Café furthered my Zionism by giving me the keys to access the beauty, charm and sophisticated language of the Jewish people. Speaking Hebrew connects simpleton me to all the great heroes of the past; from Moses to Theodor Herzl, from Eli Cohen to Yoni Netanyahu. With creative teachers and an endless amount of patience, Citizen Café made speaking Hebrew natural, as well as practical. I am excited to finally be able to use my newly acquired skills to teach my 15 month old son his ancient tongue!

Learn Hebrew you can actually use in conversation. My instructor Saar keeps it fun and engaging for everyone in class. Looking forward to continuing to learn with citizen cafe

Best Hebrew/Ulpan experience I’ve had. Practical. They understood that it’s all about speaking and listening and getting comfortable with the language and ensuring we don’t use formal “old school” words! Definitely recommend!!

I really enjoy Citizen Cafe. The teachers are very skilled and really help us to grow and develop our Hebrew. The teaching is varied and engaging. The class groups are not too big - just right, to learn together . I would recomend Citizen Cafe to anyone !

Love my classes each week. The group has become friends and our teacher Noa is brilliant. We have such fun and I have learnt so much.
