Chubby Trout

Awesome food. Their sushi/nigiri is great. They always have a wide selection of craft+draft beer. I always recommend them to friends.

Sydney was a great waitress. She knew the menu and had spot on suggestions for drinks and appetizers. We went on a 1/2 price sushi night (Mondays) and she let us know right away what the wait was for sushi. We wanted to try 4 sushi rolls even though there was a long wait. We started with Sue Sue Shrimp and a full order of lump and claw crab cakes. Both were fantastic! The sushi arrived about 10 minutes faster than the wait time they predicted and was shone of the best sushi I've had. The food and service couldn't have been better. The only downside was no AC and it was about 80 degrees. I'm not sure if that is normal but my husband was very hot in a button down shirt and jeans. Can't wait to go back!

Very good food, we enjoyed everything from the seafood to the land based dishes.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Would recommend trying the blackened steak salad with blue cheese.

Service is friendly but a bit slow. The food was amazing. Not a fan of fried shrimp but I tried some of my dad's and loved it. My husband loved the Perch. Can tell it is fresh and hand battered. Next time I am up in northern Indiana I will be eating here.

This place is great. The sushi chef is amazing at his work and if they dont have it on the menu, they will create it. Not the cheapest place but its so worth it if you're looking for something special.

Whenever we are in Elkhart, IN we always eat at the Chubby Trout. Great food at decent prices!

Great food and service. The dinning atmosphere was excellent. I had the sea food, which was cooked perfectly.

Just took the family here for a quick dinner last night and it was wonderful. We ordered the calamari and burgers and everything tasted amazing. The burgers were perfectly seasoned and cooked beautifully. The hostess and our waitress were welcoming and very sweet. We'll be back for sure to try 1/2 price sushi night!

Weekend specials are usually great, but crowded. Good craft beer selection!

1/2 Price Sushi on Mondays. Excellent rolls. Be prepared to wait a little on those days.

You will wait a long time for your food. Love the sushi. If they could shorten the wait time, we'd come back often.
