Children's Lighthouse of Rockwall

My two daughters have been attending this daycare since April, and I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. Not only have I noticed a tremendous amount of growth, but so has the rest of our family.

My youngest was a little speech delayed when she started, and since attending, she has become more attentive, social, and confident. It has been amazing to see her progress in such a short amount of time.

My older daughter has also had a wonderful experience and has especially enjoyed the summer activities and field trips. The staff is caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children’s development and well-being.

I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a nurturing, supportive, and engaging environment for their children.

My daughter keeps getting hit by other children, her things are sprawled all over the place and im being told to go hunt for those things in other rooms while she’s getting fussy in my arms, anytime I ask about how her day is or anything about her learning or social skills the answer is always I don’t know.

We only have positive things to say about the children’s light house. The teachers go out of their way to make it fun/ learning environment. Especially room 13 teachers!!!

Both of our Children attended lighthouse since they were infants. Almost 7 years total! The teachers and staff have always made us feel part of the family! Our son is currently in RM 13, and he loves Ms Dezirae and Ms Stephanie!!! They even threw him a little birthday party, since he wanted them to celebrate with him!

My daughter has been here for two years. She loves it. She is excited to go to school and spend time with her friends. She imitates her teachers at home and calls her dolls her “kids” while she is the teacher. Since “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”, I think Ms Dezirae and Ms Stephanie are doing a fantastic job. Her vocabulary, speech, and social skills with her peers are great. And at home we see the skills in conversation and conflict resolution that she is learning at school. Everyone on staff is kind and friendly, and they know her by name.

My daughter Harper and son Beau both go to school here. Harper’s teacher miss Crystal is great, Harper loves her and Beau also shares his affection for his teacher Stephanie. I can tell that they both have a positive impact on the kids. I’m happy my kids are happy ❤️

My son has been going to childrens lighthouse for 3 years and they are fantastic. The office workers are nice and helpful. My son is in Mrs. Crystal's class and he loves her. She is very patient and kind. She does a great job at teaching the kids. The curriculum is fine and does a good job of making the kids kindergarten ready.

My son started here in January and he loves it! He didn’t like his previous daycare and does so much better here I wish I would’ve switched him sooner. He has already learned so much and is talking better! Highly recommend & we love miss dezirae!

Highly recommend my nephews have attended this school since June 2025 and have shown such a great change in their learning development especially my oldest nephew who is in Ms.Hailey and Ms.Trinity’s class they have worked with us every step of the way with learning and potty training! Thanks for everything they do.

Absolutely love the daycare! I was hesitant at first for our daughter going to daycare but they put all my concerns to rest. They’re very attentive and patient with all the kids. Love the fact I can check in on my daughter throughout the day. Miss Desirae has truly been a blessing! Highly recommend this location.

I have two sons (1 and 2 years old) I have nothing but good things to say about this school they always communicate with me about specific things and help any concerns I may have regarding anything my children have been doing AMAZING since starting at this school.. my sons teachers ( Ms.Hailey and Ms. Trinity ) have done nothing but help my child and his needs including potty training! My youngest teachers (ms.Sandy and Ms.Fani make drop offs easier for both my child and I… I love all the pictures they post of them as well.

Children’s Lighthouse is our 3rd daycare in the area we have tried and our daughter has now been there for a little over 3 years. She loves her teacher Ms. Crystal and while we’ll be moving on to Kindergarten next year, we’ll miss all of the staff here. I would highly recommend!

My grandson attended another daycare in Rowlett and would cry every morning. Now he looks forward to going and just loves his teacher Dezerai. What a difference changing locations made!

We stopped at children’s since this was the school closest to our house and has also been used by my sister and close friends for their children. We immediately were welcomed and they made enrolling her so easy. My daughter has been thriving ever since. It’s been about 7 months and she is loving her classroom and teacher (Ms. Dezirae RM 13). Her social skills have increased and I feel like being here has given her a boost of confidence that she will need when she starts pre-k. Our experience with Children’s Lighthouse has been nothing short of amazing. In just one week, my son (Room 11) is already showing incredible growth—he’s more independent, more curious, and clearly advancing intellectually at a pace that’s been so exciting to watch.

The staff are genuinely friendly and caring, and the entire environment feels like family. It’s such a comforting feeling knowing he’s in a place that nurtures both his development and happiness. Highly recommend!

We started at Children's Lighthouse in 2022 and my daughter really loved it and it absolutely helped her be kindergarten ready! Now were back with the second one and she is thriving!!! I really appreciate how caring the teachers and office staff are in treating my babies like their own!!!!

My son has been attending CLH for a little over a year and our experience has been consistently wonderful. The staff truly care about the children, and it shows in the way they interact with them every day. They always take the time to listen to any concerns I have, and their communication is excellent — clear, timely, and thoughtful.

I’ve always felt that my son is safe, supported, and genuinely loved here. He’s grown so much socially and emotionally during his time at this daycare, and I credit a lot of that to the nurturing environment they create. It’s such a relief as a parent to know your child is in good hands, and CLH has given us that peace of mind from day one.

I absolutely love this school! My oldest wasn’t talking at all when he started and now he has improved a lot and has hit a lot of huge milestones..my kids are loved by all the teachers and management! Cannot recommend them enough.
