Children's Lighthouse of Olathe

I’m not one to leave reviews typically, but when it comes to my babies and their happiness it warrants a few words. My kiddo is truly having the time of their life, loves the teachers, and looks forward to going! Everyone in the office is so kind as well and it brings such a welcoming atmosphere for drop off and pick up. If you’re wondering if this is the right spot for your little loved ones, then let this be your sign!

We have absolutely loved our experience with CLH Olathe. Everyone in the front office is so kind and welcoming. I have had to have my mother do drop off/pick up on my behalf and the staff are so kind at showing her where to go and what to do. My daughter started at CLH when she had just turned 1yo. Before then she had been at home with my MIL. I was scared to have my daughter start somewhere new but I am so so glad we chose CLH Olathe for her care. The teachers have all been so wonderful and I can tell they care for my daughter. They tell me about her day and what they learned and I can see it when I bring my daughter home. We get so many pictures and updates throughout the day and I love being able to see her engaging in the activities and what they do during the day. My daughter has grown so much since starting at CLH and we couldn't be happier with our decision to start her here....

We started our daughter at CLH in December and ever since then, we have seen such a huge growth in her speech. She absolutely loves going to see her friends and her teachers and it makes my mom heart happy knowing she is loved there too. All of them have always been amazing at communicating with us about what’s going on while she’s there and sends so many pictures so I don’t feel left out during the day. I will always recommend CLH!! ❤️

This is our second summer with the school age program. I continue to love everything about the program this year. The field trips, the staff, the kids are great. I can tell the school age kids are given the same attention to needs and wants as all the other age groups. I love that they have a dedicated room with a wide variety of games, blocks, art supplies, stem materials etc for the school age kids to enjoy. There are weekly themes and they let the kids dream big. The kids wanted to do an impromptu talent show this summer and the staff said yes. They were given the ability to run with their imaginations and worked together as a group to create and perform their show. Our daughter looks forward to going every day and seeing her friends. I love that she has a safe place to be creative, play and learn all summer long without the need for endless screen time, pool days and movie days.

Can’t say enough nice things about Children’s Lighthouse. Our son has really thrived since he got there. From the owners, to the directors, to the teachers, everyone is wonderful.

Moving our oldest son here from another daycare facility 9 months ago was one of the best decisions we’ve made, and after starting our youngest 5 months ago, we still love it just as much. The patience, structure, and care the teachers provide has made such a difference for our family. It’s comforting knowing they are loved and excited to go each day. So grateful for this daycare community!

It is so reassuring to have found Children’s Lighthouse for our son. The teachers and staff are so compassionate and kind. The day is full of learning and age appropriate activities and I know he will be on track for Kindergarten!

My toddler started going here part-time a couple months ago. Love the new management, updated rooms and toys, and the staff is great! My son seems to love it!

Everyone treats you like family. Very clean and updated building and resources. It's nice knowing when I drop my kiddo off that she is in the care of very caring professionals.

As a parent and a professional it is hard to find people you can trust with your little one that means the world to you. We found that place! Our daughter is in the preschool program and truly the teachers and owners are above the rest! Mrs. Ann & Mrs. Ashley have brought so much knowledge and guidance with schooling aspects, while still having kindness for our littles. The owner Madison is very involved and has kiddos there herself. All in all, they have brand new ownership because I saw the reviews before coming in the new owners are amazing. The teachers are phenomenal. You won’t want to miss out on this place. It’s amazing and I’m so thankful that we send our daughter there!

Every teacher I’ve met always has a big smile on their face which you don’t find everywhere. Ms. Grace was very supportive when I decided to pull the plug on pull ups and go full potty training mode and again for no pull up at naps. She was very encouraging and always gave me positive feedback during the process even with some accidents along the way. All of the teachers and admin know my child and are ready to greet us with a smile and hello even if they aren’t the direct teacher which is always so welcoming.

We just moved to Kansas a few months ago. We were very worried about Childcare for our 2.5 year old and 9 month old but had to quickly decide on a daycare before the move. The team at Children’s Lighthouse made the transition to the new daycare a breeze. We love that meals are provided to the children and all of the staff is amazing. My son loves his teachers, and loves playing with all of the fun toys and playground equipment. He has learned so much already in such a short time- from better counting, handwriting skills, and learning letters. He even calls the center “My Lighthouse”. My daughter is also thriving and her teachers absolutely adore her. I know both kids are in great hands!

This location is so much better than the Overland Park branch, which is still owned by the previous owner and remains very disorganized. After taking over following an incident with one of the former owner’s employees, the new owners have completely turned this school around. It’s been a full 360 under their leadership.100% recommend!

My 2.5 year old started going to Children’s Lighthouse when they reopened in May and we couldn’t be happier. He is excited every day to go see his teachers and loves the activities and snacks he gets. The communication throughout the day is our favorite part, we can see what he’s eating, priceless pictures of him having fun, and when he naps. They have a live camera too.

I’m really happy with our choice to send him here. He learns so much and I love sending him to a place that has a great curriculum across all ages. The classrooms and playgrounds are super clean and the snacks and meals he gets are a good variety and healthy. Everyone is so friendly and they take care of my toddler just like I would. The doors have locks and PIN codes so I know he’s safe and gets plenty of attention which as a mom is the most important thing for me.

We have loved our experience at Children's Lighthouse under the new ownership of Tyler and Madison. It is refreshing to see owners present at the daycare and involved in the day to day operations. From the directors to the teachers, the staff is kind and take care of your child with love and positivity.

I understand that there were major issues under the previous owners, but we weren’t going here then, so I can’t comment on that. But my two daughters are in their school-age summer program, and they’re loving it. Their teacher is absolutely wonderful. The director and staff are so kind, and they’re always willing to answer our questions. Communication is great—I get so many updates and photos throughout the day. My kids are engaged in lots of fun activities. They even go on field trips. I definitely recommend Children’s Lighthouse of Olathe!

Kiddie Academy has been nothing but accommodating and kind. They are a great group of girls who truly care about their community’s youth and will do all they can for parents as well. The academy is more clean and more affordable than others I’ve come across. Definitely a diamond in the rough! Very professional, very passionate. Choose Kiddie Academy!!

The staff isn’t just “nice.” They’re trained, professional, and genuinely invested in helping kids grow, not just stay busy until pickup.

I don’t have children enrolled here, but I know the owners personally and can confidently vouch for their integrity, kindness, and dedication to creating a safe, nurturing environment for kids. They truly care about the families they serve and have poured their hearts into this daycare.

We are excited to be joining Chikdren’s Lighthouse next week and decided that changing daycares so our kids can experience this new learning experience was best. The updates to the school interior are awesome and it’s such a fun and inviting place.
