Children's Lighthouse Olathe

My 2.5 year old started going to Children’s Lighthouse when they reopened in May and we couldn’t be happier. He is excited every day to go see his teachers and loves the activities and snacks he gets. The communication throughout the day is our favorite part, we can see what he’s eating, priceless pictures of him having fun, and when he naps. They have a live camera too.

I’m really happy with our choice to send him here. He learns so much and I love sending him to a place that has a great curriculum across all ages. The classrooms and playgrounds are super clean and the snacks and meals he gets are a good variety and healthy. Everyone is so friendly and they take care of my toddler just like I would. The doors have locks and PIN codes so I know he’s safe and gets plenty of attention which as a mom is the most important thing for me.

We have loved our experience at Children's Lighthouse under the new ownership of Tyler and Madison. It is refreshing to see owners present at the daycare and involved in the day to day operations. From the directors to the teachers, the staff is kind and take care of your child with love and positivity.

I understand that there were major issues under the previous owners, but we weren’t going here then, so I can’t comment on that. But my two daughters are in their school-age summer program, and they’re loving it. Their teacher is absolutely wonderful. The director and staff are so kind, and they’re always willing to answer our questions. Communication is great—I get so many updates and photos throughout the day. My kids are engaged in lots of fun activities. They even go on field trips. I definitely recommend Children’s Lighthouse of Olathe!

Kiddie Academy has been nothing but accommodating and kind. They are a great group of girls who truly care about their community’s youth and will do all they can for parents as well. The academy is more clean and more affordable than others I’ve come across. Definitely a diamond in the rough! Very professional, very passionate. Choose Kiddie Academy!!

I don’t have children enrolled here, but I know the owners personally and can confidently vouch for their integrity, kindness, and dedication to creating a safe, nurturing environment for kids. They truly care about the families they serve and have poured their hearts into this daycare.

We are excited to be joining Chikdren’s Lighthouse next week and decided that changing daycares so our kids can experience this new learning experience was best. The updates to the school interior are awesome and it’s such a fun and inviting place.

My boys really love both of their teachers, and that stems from their care for my boys.

My daughter has been attending Children's Lighthouse of Olathe for a year. The school has helped her transition from milk to solid food and has taken good care of her. The school also provides frequent updates, and photos, throughout the day through the Procare app.

ALL of the staff at Children’s Lighthouse are so genuine and welcoming! When it comes to the kiddos, they are wonderful with at communication and really understanding them so they can best guide them through their early learning to be prepared for “big school.” I see them having fun with the students and genuinely taking an interest in their involvement, learning, joy, and overall wellbeing.

From the excellent management to caring and thoughtful staff, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to watch our baby grow 🥰

My child has been going to Children's Lighthouse for a year now. The teachers are like family to our family and I trust them wholly with my child. My kiddo has so much fun everyday and has developed a lot since starting at Children's Lighthouse. Thankful for the teachers and staff that make every day wonderful for my child!

Our twins love going to school here! I love their teachers and all of the staff are so friendly. It has been the best experience as we moved back from out of state. Keep it up!

I find the staff at Children’s lighthouse all to be so thoughtful and willing to go the extra mile when needed to resolve any complications that arise. Our littlest also loves seeing his friends and teachers and has shown some wonderful growth in his time there.

My kids have been coming here since they were 3 months old (now 19 months) and it's been the best time! The curriculum is amazing and everyone loves seeing them come in and out of the building... definitely a great atmosphere and my kids have learned so much!

My son had the choice to pick what school he wanted, he chose this one, and we couldn’t be happier. It’s very clean, spacious, has two playground sections for different ages, friendly staff and small population in class classrooms.

We have sent our two littles to Children’s Lighthouse Olathe for the past 3 years, and we love the service and care they provide. I feel that Management and staff have never been stronger than they are right now. They truly care and go above and beyond for both my 3 year old son and my young daughter who is developmentally delayed. The staff are passionate and work with my daughter and her physical and speech therapists. Her caregivers have played such a huge role in her progress and growth and my son looooves his caregivers as well. He is so excited to go see his teachers and friends everyday.

We have had our daughter at Children’s Lighthouse since she was an infant. When she transitioned from one building to another we were extremely worried about how she would take it. The teachers and staff in the building put her and us at ease. Many of the teachers that took care of her as an infant are still there. To this day our daughter not only loves her past teachers but also has been able to bond with her new ones.

If there are gaps in communication or concerns, we have been able to ask questions and the staff always takes time to walk us through any concern. We plan to continue to keep our daughter enrolled and if we were to expand our family in the future we would feel confident leaving any new additions to our family in there care.

There are some exceptional teachers and directors here. They are really good at communicating and working through issues with us. Some things can be unorganized which is mainly caused by the ownership lacking direction. Staff turnover is a big issue like in many places.

Attentive and caring staff.
They made the transition to daycare for our toddler as painless as it could be and helped her settle in. All the staff are supportive of both the children's needs as well as providing comfort to the parents knowing that the little ones are well cared for.

Updates and pictures are available throughout the day and they do a great job at showing the little ones having fun.

I absolutely love all the teachers my child has had and has now. The management at this location are very nice, caring, and communicative with me. I wouldn't change anything or even think to send my child anywhere else. And happy to say they'll nourish, teach, and love on my new baby very soon. They are the best daycare around. I never have to worry about my child when she's there. Thank you for everything you all do! It's always a great feeling when your child is so excited about going to daycare. Wanting many more year's with the children's lighthouse family.
