Absolutely top-notch! A clock from a listing they were managing caught my eye and they kindly agreed to ship it to me. The packaging was done with great care & thought, and it met me over 1800 miles away in exactly the same shape as it left! Just reading some other reviews, it's clear the Baker team does a lot, and they do it all exceptionally well! As for me, I enjoy my treasure, and I thank you very much for everything!

Caring Transitions South Bay PV have the nicest and most professional staff that have worked with me through painful moves and downsizing after the death of my husband. Their compassion helped me get through what seemed like an impossibly hard time for me.

I would recommend them to everyone and I have recommended them to friends and relatives.

you think you’ve got everything handled your family member passes away and you’re hurting from the loss. But the reality sets in your parents house is full of stuff, daunting, and you really don’t know where to start or who to contact or just plain where to ask for help. An acquaintance pointed me towards caring transition. Best thing that ever happened for me when I was 2000 miles away. I had no idea what to do with the stuff how to handle it. Do I ship it? Do I donated? Do I have a an estate sale? there is a lot of things, and I’m not usually a person who ask for help. But the recommendation for caring transition really was a lifesaver. They had the answers ,they had the contacts, they had the ability to do whatever you needed to get it done from the small stuff to handling the large issues and how to handle in the most compassionate way understanding that the family hard choices...

The Caring Transition personnel did an excellent job in organizing and removing the contents of my parents' home. They were efficient in organizing the contents and separated personal items as photos, jewelry, and documents so that I could screen them. All work was completed in a timely manner. This has been such a wonderful experience for us! Mom moved to another state during the pandemic and we were able to remain with her and help her unpack and adjust to a new community. Everything was taken care of without hands on involvement on our part. The house in which we had lived for almost 60 years was cleared and left in a state where we could immediately put it on the market without any work in our part. It was on the 8th of Marsh when we found out my father had a stroke. And was at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. I was in Wisconsin and was told he would need to be put into hospice care. I wouldn't be able to get out there till the 14th and knew I would need to get someone to clean out his house. So I found Caring Transitions SBPV doing a Google search. So after making one email to them I received a phone call from Tim Baker within an hour. I told him I wouldn't be able to get there till the 14th, but my cousin would be at the house the weekend of the 11th and 12th. And that my father was a real packrat / hoarder and couldn't throw anything away. On the 11th Tim called me and said that it would be no problem cleaning out the house. Tim and his team are WONDERFUL! There aren’t enough words to describe how helpful and easy this process was. There was never a question we asked that the answer was “no.” Tim made it all happen. My brother, husband and I were in the process of decluttering my parents’ home of 35 years who have both passed away. Needless to say, there was a lot of stuff. Tim and his team treated our things with great care and respect. We also had some junk that had accumulated over the years and some things to be securely shredded. Tim and Heather Baker of Caring Transitions are first rate. I cannot imagine using a regular moving company when the move is so sensitive, and the Bakers are very sensitive people. They took detailed note of what we wanted moved (a tough job when only a few things are going!) and dealt with us in such a professional way. Tim laid out a perfect floor plan for the furniture.

The move itself was perfect. Lauri packed up beautifully and then supervised the actual move. She felt like part of our family. James and (?) were friendly and efficient.

Our experience with this company could not have been better. They handled an online auction and estate sale of what we wanted to get rid of. They packed up our stuff, had a mover move it, unpacked and put away everything we wanted including the entire kitchen, hauled away packing materials, and helped make our bed for our first night. They donated what they could of stuff left behind and disposed of everything else. They vacuumed the house and cleaned up. Great value for what we paid. Extremely honest, extremely responsive, extremely nice! I would give them 6 stars if I could.
