I bought some things from an auction, great prices, pick up was a breeze, nice in-person sale at the site and everyone was truly just SO nice and willing to help. Caring Transitions helped me move from my patio home to an independent senior living facility. There were several steps in the process and I was very grateful for their help at each step.
First, we began the “decluttering” operation. Items were selected for family, possible sale, charity and disposal.
Second, we determined what would fit and where in the new location/space.
Third, items were marked for packing. This is a crucial step. Do not assume that things will be transported if not marked. Kerry was most helpful in this phase.
Fourth was packing day. The husband and wife team that came in and worked with staff were pleasant, efficient and worked quickly.
Last was moving day. The move went very smoothly. The husband and wife team along with Kerry unpacked, put everything in place and removed packing material. Apartment was ready to come in...

After our mother passed away, we we contacted Leslie to organize an estate sale for all of her belongings. We took the things we wanted and Leslie literally took care of the rest. She meticuously organized everything, posted the auction online, arranged for payments and pick ups and had anything that was not sellable, hauled away. When she was done, the house was completely empty AND clean. We live out of town and the service Leslie provided was professional, compassionate and invaluable.

I love this auction site and leslie mckinney is such a pleasure to deal with. I've needed so much for my home that i couldn't afford new and i have been able to furnish it with very nice quality furnishings. Its sad many elderly leave their homes but i can tell that leslie handles their belongings with dignity and tespect.
