Our daughter has some unique needs that make it challenging to find reliable, safe, trustworthy care for her. From the moment we toured at the Goddard School, though, we knew it was a special place that would be a great fit for her. Between the developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum, to the loving and experienced staff, it just felt right. She’s now been attending the school for almost 8 months, and we couldn’t be happier. She is excited to go to school every morning and disappointed to leave in the afternoons. Her teachers have become like family to us - loving and caring for our daughter as if she’s their own. The entire staff is welcoming, friendly, compassionate, and collaborative and I can’t say enough good things about our experience so far.

My family has been very pleased with our experience at Goddard Alexandria (West). My 2.5 year old toddler had been there since he was about 7 months, so he has been in several classrooms and gotten to know many of the faculty. Goddard is a warm, welcoming environment staffed by true professionals who love what they do and love the kids. My son learns so much at school every day and runs into school every morning excited to see his friends and teachers.

Big shoutout and thanks to his current teachers, including superstars Lizett and Shantel. Lizett especially teaches him so much every day. He also thrived with Helen, Kassie, Crystal, and Maribel. His class spends a lot of time with Janell and Kaelyn and we love them, too! We also love the dedication of the front office/director team (Traleece, Andrea, Sarah), Keke, and so many others. We love Goddard! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This has been far the BEST daycare we have been to. We move often the care we get surpasses every daycare we have been to prior. The teachers are like family. They treat our kids like their own, even the ones who aren't their classroom teacher! Everyone always says hi and calls my 3 kids by name.

Ms. KaeKae and Ms. Brittney have taught my 2 year old so much already and the lessons he learns each day are far above our expectations. They make drop off much easier each day as well. And we can feel that they genuinely care for him.

We could not ask for better teachers for my 4 year old then Ms. Gabby and Ms. Jennifer. They welcome my stubborn to drop off daughter with open arms and never seem to mind that they have to help soothe her when Mom and Dad leave. The curriculum that they teach has prepared her for Kindergarten and...

Absolutely love the curriculum, the daily insight what my son does by the pictures and standards being taught. He is so intelligent at a young age from all the efforts his teachers, Ms. Janelle and Ms. Rana, strive to always do. Another shout out to Ms Shantel too! Awesome location, very grateful and feels safe to leave him everyday!

Both of our sons are currently attending The Goddard School and have developed so well. The teachers Ms Mary, Ms Crystal and Ms Helen provide excellent care and communication. There is never a worry on what they will learn. We do hope to continue on and look forward to what the future holds with Goddard.

We’ve been sending our son to The Goddard School for about four months now, and we absolutely love it! From the very beginning, Ms. Maribel and Ms. Charia have been so kind and attentive—they genuinely care about the kids, and it shows in everything they do. As a first-time mom, I was a bit nervous about leaving my son, but I feel completely at ease knowing he’s in such good hands.

Now that he’s a little older, he’s moved into the First Steps classroom with Ms. Amanda, Ms. LaSasha, and Ms. Kassandra. While it’s only been a short time in this new class, they have already been wonderful. Transitioning to a new classroom at this age can be tough—for both the child and the parents—but they’ve made every effort to help him adjust smoothly.

They’ve also been amazing at sending frequent updates throughout the day, which gives me so much peace of mind. I love that...

I am so thankful for the Goddard School. The owners, the front office, Ms Andrea,
Ms Traleece, Ms Sarah and all the teachers, assistant teachers, and staff are wonderful. Everyone is so friendly, caring and professional. The communication is great.

My granddaughter is graduating in June completely ready to start kindergarten. I’m so glad my grandson will continue for two more years having a wonderful learning experience in this school.

My son just started at Goddard and it has been such a positive experience. The personalized orientation let us know exactly what to expect and there were no tears (from parents or baby!) on day 1 because the room was so warm and engaging. Ms. Michelle, Ms. Tina, & Ms. Whitney are so caring and attentive with all the kiddos, and organize super interactive activities. We love getting the pictures and details of our son’s day everyday.

We enrolled our daughter to the Goddard School over 6 months ago and we couldn’t be happier! She started in a toddler class and is now in Pre-k1 and teachers in both classes were great! The school plans good curriculum for the children and from time to time plans for special events such as a fall festival, Santa Clause pictures… very nice add-ons. There is a very nice playground just outside the school and an indoor multipurpose room where they go on a daily basis if the weather does not allow to go outside!

In particular, we want to say thank you to our daughter’s Current teachers Ms. Chaimae and Ms. Valerie! They are both so loving to our daughter, they enjoy teaching and create fun learning environment! They are very communicative with parents and they really connect with the kids! We’re very pleased to see our daughter being happy to go to school!

When my daughter first started daycare at 11 months, she really struggled with stranger anxiety and separation distress. Thankfully, Ms. Maribel and Ms. Charia were so patient and understanding, allowing her to adjust at her own pace and slowly build the trust she needed.

As a first-time parent, leaving my little one in the care of strangers was definitely challenging. It was hard to concentrate on work knowing my child was with people I didn't know well. But Ms. Maribel and Ms. Charia offered us so much comfort and reassurance that our baby was in loving, caring hands. I remember feeling pretty nervous when we found out it was time for her to transition into a new class.

Now when I drop my daughter off at her new classroom, it really warms my heart to see her excitedly run to her teachers. Ms. Kassie, Ms. Amanda, and Ms. Sasha are fantastic. My daughter is...

Goddard is an excellent school. My two-year-old daughter has wonderful teachers, and I have complete confidence that she is safe and well-cared for. I want to express my gratitude to Ms. KaeKae and Brittany for their exceptional work. Ms. Crystal and Helen were also fantastic and kind teachers. The facility is clean, modern, and well-lit with ample natural light. Additionally, the school provides frequent updates throughout the day via an app portal, and the communication from the administrators is excellent. I’m not sure what else you could want for your child!

We love the Goddard School and so do our children! They have learned a tremendous amount from the amazing teachers and have so much fun every day. The staff is also very responsive and open to questions and feedback. Their current teachers, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Keyanna, Ms. Chaimae, and Ms. Valerie are wonderful and very experienced. We know our children are in good hands in their classrooms!

Ms. Michelle is amazing! She’s been great with my infant son, helping him adjust to daycare.

I have been so impressed by the Goddard School and have had a great experience here with our son. We have only been here for a couple of months, but each day we are greeted by name by everyone, from the front desk to the teachers. Ms Michelle in the infant room is outstanding. Her command of infant care and control of the classroom is clear and calming, and gave me a lot of comfort as a new mom in early daycare days!

We are coming up on two years at Goddard Alexandria West and are so happy with our choice of child care facilities. The staff is kind and clearly cares about our individual child. Shout out to Ms. Lizett for her assistance in potty training our two year old!

As a parent who child is enrolled in the program, I highly recommend this facility. My child loves attending the school and adores the teachers in the Pre-K program (Ms. Leslie, Ms.Mary) My child has learned so much socially and the teachers are very hands-on. All the staff in the building are friendly and helpful, you can feel the energy when you walk into the place.

We have enjoyed our first 2.5 months with the Goddard school. We feel that the value is there for the price point because of our son’s amazing teachers Ms. Michelle and Ms. Lizett. You can tell they really care about each kid in their room. I would recommend them to anyone.

Update: after 10 months being here we have transitioned to the next classroom with new teachers. While we were nervous to change to new teachers, we love them just as much! Ms Charia and Ms Maribel are awesome and care for our son like their own. The teachers in this school make it so great!

We have two children at this school, and every teacher has been fantastic. However, Ms. Chaimae, her current preschool teacher, has truly been wonderful!

Ms. Lindsey has been teaching our daughter for several months and we are so impressed with her improvement with letters and numbers. Ms. Lindsey is kind, patient with the children, and works closely with all of the children to adapt to their needs. We are so lucky to have her and the wonderful staff at Goddard!

Ms. Michelle has been wonderful helping my 6 month old son get adjusted to life at daycare. I know he is in good hands with her!

From my family's short time at this location we have seen a significant improvement in our daughters speech, social interactions, and motor skills. The ladies in the butterfly room (Gabby & Jennifer) really made it possible for us to have a feeling of ease knowing that we could depend on them to give our daughter the support and care she needed away from home. They care for every child in and outside their room and foster a safe and creative development environment for the children. I would highly recommend this location and I would like to recognize these two ladies who were not only teachers but amazing role models for my daughter. We will miss this school, the friends we made along the way, and hope to one day return in the future. Thank you all for your care!

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the amazing environment you’ve created in PreK1. My daughter has recently transitioned into your class and is truly thriving in so many different ways! The classroom is always so welcoming, energetic, and full of activities that challenge her in the best ways. I can’t thank you both enough for all the effort and care you put into making it such a special place for my daughter.

My son recently started at the Goddard school and has been thriving. Each morning we enter the door we are greeted with smiles and a warm family/fun environment. Our teacher Ms. Lindsey has assisted in making my sons transition and first school experience nothing short of amazing! He comes home each day raving about his teacher and what they are learning for the day. The school app is very thorough and I love having an insight as to what the kids are learning. Receiving pictures of my son throughout the day is a huge bonus. Thank you for taking such great care of my son! We love you Ms. Lindsey!

I highly recommend The Goddard School of Alexandria West! Our almost 10 month old has been there since he was 4 months old in the Infant 1 classroom. As new parents, it was hard to leave our son with strangers, but the staff, especially his teacher Ms. Michelle made us feel so comfortable. Now we're moving out of state, and we wish we could take her with us! She's so sweet, knowledgeable, and communicative. Ms. Lizett, Ms. Sasha, and the other teachers he's had are also so great with him. The directors and front staff — Ms. Traleece, Ms. Andrea, and Ms. Sarah are also great. They greet us daily and seem to know all of the kids and parents’ names which is so welcoming.

The curriculum, even for just infants, is incredible! They aren’t just being taken care of, they’re doing lessons and having fun — all sorts of creative sensory activities, arts & crafts, yoga, outdoor...

We have found the Goddard School of Alexandria West provides an ideal environment, optimal student to teacher ratio, and caring staff to nurture our child. Although she has only been enrolled for a short time, the positive impact on her growth and development has been tremendous.

Our children love going to Goddard School of Alexandria (west)! All of the teachers are always so welcoming. Thank you for all you do for our children!
