Brain Balance of Jacksonville

This place has been a God-send for our family. Our son has made huge strides at Brain Balance Jacksonville. Gone are the days of hours long tantrums, low attention span, dangerous impulsivity, and walking on egg shells around our son. My son is happy, listens much better, is much calmer, really thinks things through, is able to express his emotions, and just a big bundle of love! We still have a month or so to go, so I am excited to see the final result!! We owe so much to this center. The staff are incredible and feel like family.

Our daughter Charlize started BB several weeks ago and we don’t see a difference in her yet, but I see the difference in us! With the 1st visit our daughter went and did her testing and we were explained the program and in talking David pointed out several things our daughter struggles with, signifying they have seen this before. He made me feel like there is hope for when I tell my kid to get ready I don’t have to make sure she does every step in the process. Hope that we won’t have a struggle with homework time, a hope that we can cut out using ADD medicine. Looking forward to seeing how our daughter grows and our family grows with it.

So happy I found this facility! We have only just started in our journey, but they have given us all the tools and support to get through. The staff is amazing and truly caring!

My kids have been coming here for several months now. There is a change in behaviors, confidence and physical being. It's a lot of work for them and there is some work to do at home, but so far I like the changes in my kids. The one negative I have is that during a 3 day holiday weekend, staffing could be a hit or miss and they won't be able to accommodate all the kids. Even with that caveat, the staff are amazing with the kids and are extremely helpful and able to answer any questions you may have.

This has been great for my son. We found this place 3 months ago hoping to help us improve his behavior at school. He went from getting suspended to getting high praise and prizes from his teachers. He is kind to his teachers, friends and little sister! I would recommend for anyone looking for help for their child.

Our 8 Y/O has benefited greatly from the Balance he has received since starting the program last fall. The progress at times seems slow, but overall the change has been positive. Working in tandem with his visits, we do the daily brain/body exercises that really help him with strengthening his mind and his body. It has helped with his feelings when he doesn't get his way. We recommend the program due to the benefits our child has shown.

I'm assisting my daughter by taking my grandson to BB classes. He's been attending classes three times a week for over 6 months. I have also assisted in his daily physical exercises. Initially it was a bit rough for him but we all persisted.

The staff is focused on my grandson - each visit. Gradually he has gained confidence in both the physical and "educational" exercises. To me the results have been impressive. Sure he still gets "carried away" - he's an eight year old boy. But the time it takes him to composed himself has been reduced drastically. He likes all his coaches and fellow students. At the end of the program I will provide an update to his progress.

The care taken to impart knowledge to the children becomes immediately evident in the child's achievements in school. The caring that they bring into the children's life's is shared by the children with others. Amazing the understanding and consideration they demonstrate each day. Thank you for bringing such joy to my family.

My 10 year old son has been attending Brain Balance for about 2 months now and I have already seen a huge difference. Before Brain Balance, a 10 minute timeout would turn into a 2 hour fight. I can now see him him thinking before he reacts. His behavior overall has been life changing.

Our son (11) has been going here for 4 months and we have seen major changes in all aspects of his behavior. His school work has improved, his confidence is better, his hand writing is so much better and his hand and eye coordination has greatly improved helping in all aspects for his sports. The staff is always available for help, and willing to answer any question! I have recommended this program to many people and would send anyone to this center.

Since coming to Brain Balance I have seen a notable difference in my son! We went from getting home calls from the principal everyday and sad faces on our behavior chart to smiley faces everyday! We have tried everything! Several different therapies, different medications, 3 different pediatricians, etc. Nothing and I mean NOTHING has been more beneficial than Brain Balance!! I will be forever grateful to the team of Brain Balance Jacksonville for all of their hardwork and dedication to these kids!

The center is great! Location is easy to get to . The facility is clean and organized and the staff is friendly, knowledgable and just simple awesome!

We can't begin to tell you the difference Brain Balance has made in our lives. Both of our daughters struggle academically, thanks to Brain Balance their academics have improved tremendously. I can't enough good things about the program. They also have an amazing staff.

Happy tears! A child reading may seem small for someone who has kids that learn easy and don’t have any problems with their brain. But for our kid, this is a mountain he has clawed his way up to. In December our son was diagnosed with severe ADHD. He cannot control his actions, cannot focus to do any kind of work and refused to try and read. So, what does that lead to? Failing 1st grade, constant trips to the principals office, getting in trouble at home and the worst was our six year old telling us over and over again that he is worthless, ugly and does not want to live. Any parent knows how crushing these words can be. Once we had the diagnosis we knew what to do. Our son’s sister had a processing disorder. Brain Balance is not easy. You need to get into the program 100%. Our little girl has made great advances with the help of Brain Balance staff along with the extra effort and commitment of our entire family. We have seen quite a few positive changes and can anticipate more to come. We are getting comments from others, some that know us and some we do not know say our girl is acting better, is more polite, patient, well behaved and acts older. She is fitting in.

Amazing things are happening and we have Brain Balance to thank. We're half way through and can't wait to see what happens next.

I was skeptical at first I have to admit but we have been in the program since October. My daughter can now sit still during lessons and her grades are improving. We have noticed a huge difference in her attention span.
The staff here are amazing. They always make me feel welcomed and at home. Being a parent is tough, some days we fail but the staff here are always supporting and encouraging us even on the days we don’t get it right!

We cannot begin to tell you the difference this center has made in the lives of our grandson and the family that loves him. It is truly miraculous! We have gone from a 5 year old who was in the principals office almost daily to one who no longer thinks of himself as a "bad" to a happy kid who now gets top marks for excellent behavior every single day! If you're at your wits end and frustrated for your child you have got to do this for both of you. Put in the time, put in the work and you will see your own little miracle!

Brain balance changed my son’s life. Everything you have heard from parents who swear that the difference in their children is amazing, is telling the absolute truth. I cannot recommend them enough. It is expensive, but worth every penny.

Brain Balance has been the most rewarding process we have done to help our son with his ADHD. I was worried about the long-term effects of stimulant meds and kept looking for a solution for the ADHD. It was our experience that changing his diet (removing gluten and sugar) was as critical as the home exercises and visiting the location 3x/week for 6 months. It was a HUGE commitment and a lot of work, but the results have changed our lives:
