We were excited about buying a Blackrock home in the Stapleton community to be closer to our family. (Getting older, we really wanted to be closer to our daughter and grandbabies) We had so many issues in the first year we have owned our home. The home is poorly built. Especially being built from the ground up. We developed a crack in the pitch of the ceiling only 7 months after moving in. I asked Las, Blackrock’s representative “what if this happens again” to which he replied “when we fix it, it won’t happen again”. But 8 months later, the same problem occurred. Because it’s past the one year warranty timeframe, they will not come back to fix it. In our backyard we had an issue. Blackrock started to fix the problem but didn’t finish because the problem spanned over a year. So both issues, were not fixed. I have been in my Blackrock townhome for almost a year now, and love it even more than I did when I bought it. Absolutely no regrets here! When I had my home inspected prior to closing, the provider I chose told me that they seldom find any issues with these homes. You can't beat good quality at an affordable price point, and Dave, Angie and Will are delights to work with. Edington is a great neighborhood in North Meridian - close to parks, walking paths, schools, services and stores, but tucked in a quiet and serene neighborhood filled with truly nice people who help each other out when needed. My wife & I have lived in McCall, ID since being displaced by Paradise, CA's fire 5 years ago & finally decided to buy a smaller townhome in Treasure Valley to simplify our frequent trips there, which often require an overnight stay.
We first visited Blackrock's Edington neighborhood with our realtor on December 14th, & the townhome on which we closed escrow January 4th checked all of our "boxes"--it is new, beautiful interior, perfect 2 BR, 2 BA size for us, centrally located & constructed by a reputable builder. Dave Klein represented Blackrock in our "walk through" December 29th & we were impressed--very nice guy, informative, patient & helpful. We're delighted to own our new townhome in Edington.

When we came back after months of being away, the power was off due to a faulty circuit board. Since it was a Saturday could not get them on the phone to fix the problem. When we hired someone else for the fix, black rock would not compensate us for our time or money. Saying we did not give them a chance to fix the problem. Stay away from these homes. Made with the cheapest material and things go wrong immediately. Still dealing with a overly sensitive fire alarm. Read more >

I just love the Yuma model at Black Rock in the Eddington development! The floor plan is so open and airy, I just love it! The location is amazing! Not right in the middle of the hustle bustle but able to get anywhere in a snap. The development is clean and well taken care of and such a bonus to not have to do any outside maintenance. The home is so well insulated that I can't hear any outside noise or the adjoining neighbor. Anyone looking for a new comfortable and beautiful home, I highly recommend you take the time to look into this Black Rock development at Eddington development at the corner of Ustick and Linder. After looking at a number of builders in and around Eagle/Meridian we bought at Estrada. First and foremost, the quality of the construction and design stands out. The finish work is about as close to flawless as you can get. Upscale throughout and the kitchen with its custom cabinets, high end appliances, and striking quartz and multi-dimensional backsplash had us ready to sign. Blackrock worked with us to close escrow in about two weeks on an about to be finished home. We had looked at their 55+ south of 84, but Estrada’s location is hard to beat - it’s central to everything in Eagle. Yes, the price point is higher, but they’ve a winning combination of amazing homes for those wanting to downsize, luxury, and location. And, yes, they’ve a 1/2 acre upscale dog park that ours loves and is a great venue for meeting your new neighbors. Read more >

We live in Maine and were looking to purchase a home in Eagle ID for seasonal use. We went to an open house and really liked the design of the homes in Estrada. We picked a plan and lot, made a deposit and returned 4 months later to a completed, beautiful house. We've been in it a week now and really love the house, the finishes and the neighborhood. Top quality craftsmanship and design at a very reasonable price point. We can't wait to return and spend more time in our house.
