Our two-year old just started at BLC in April and we are already so incredibly grateful to have him there. The staff makes it a point to get to know each of the kids and the parents as well, which is really comforting and makes for a welcoming community. The teachers are genuinely caring and wonderful people who are fully invested in the development of each child. The space itself is beautiful, secure, organized, and clean with lots of natural light in each classroom and a fantastic shaded play structure outside. There’s also a sandbox full of toys as well as lots of bikes, trikes, cars, etc. for the kids to ride around. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included and the menus are posted monthly. The curriculum is incredibly well-rounded and offers so much for the kids all year long. Not only do the kids play and participate in arts/crafts and music class, but they also learn their letters, numbers, shapes, etc. The curriculum also focuses on teaching the children how to behave in social settings – sharing, teamwork, manners, etc. In addition, there are optional enrichment courses available should you choose to enroll your child (for example: soccer, dance, karate, etc). Everything is open and transparent and the teachers have been consistently responsive if we ever have any questions. We're really happy to have our son there. We plan on eventually enrolling our daughter when she’s old enough. We’re very thankful to be part of the BLC community!
