This place is a hidden gem! I've had a few treatments here and each time has been fantastic. Samantha gives an amazing facial and Richard gave one of the most relaxing massages I've ever had! Highly recommend checking them out.

I should admit upfront that my relationship with massage is strained. I always find myself overwhelmed with the relief of tension in my body both familiar and previously, drastically unaddressed. I also always hear "how is it possible that you've been this tense? Get massage more often". I further have usually continued to ignore it. It's probably a safe bet that ill struggle to overcome that habit, but it won't be because Austin Urban Retreat neglected anything. To the contrary, we were greeted with a private space to wait together, my spouse and I. My massage therapist was spectacular, thorough and thoughtful. She addressed my specific concerns and kept from beating me up too badly over my condition. I find myself hesitating to go on in case they get too busy for what I hope will be a regular therapeutic. They've won me over.

Great experience all around - they treated our group with such kindness and respect, and we even able to accommodate last minute changes to our reservations. Would highly recommend!

The service and massage was really great! It was relaxing and helped alleviate some tight spots. I added hot stones and they took long to bring in and warm up. This started my message much later than intended.

Tammy is an absolute skin expert. I have received many facials over the years from high-end estheticians, LA to NYC, and Tammy completely blew them out of the water. I was so impressed by her knowledge and attention to detail; she showed a genuine interest in improving my skin. I came in with dull, lackluster skin and left looking like a glazed donut (in the best way). The entire experience felt so luxurious, I cannot recommend her or this salon enough!

For reference-I received a customized facial with a peel, microdermabrasion, and a jelly mask to finish.

I love Austin Urban Retreat. It is an oasis I visit regularly on South Lamar. Tammy is the BEST and I love being able to support a women owned small business in ATX.

The best!!! My dear friend and I had the most amazing time here during our girls trip to Austin! We both had the best facial and massage we’ve ever experienced! We enjoyed the beautiful, clean and relaxing environment, the softest robes and blankets ever, discovered a new favorite beverage in between services, the poinsettia aka champagne with a splash of cranberry, and most importantly the kind and knowledgeable professionals who made us feel so wonderful and comfortable. Huge thanks to our Estheticians, Tammy & Cassandra and Massage Therapists Sulema & Patrice. We couldn’t have asked for more. We felt so relaxed after, and my skin still looks hydrated and glowing 2 days later. I can’t say enough good things; we will definitely be back!!

Danielle did my massage and she was amazing. She worked out my knots and helped me relax before a big week. I was offered wine in between my treatments which was a nice touch. Tammy was my aesthetician and her facial was amazing as well. They only use high-quality, natural products which is great for my sensitive skin. I suggest booking with Danielle/Tammy and signing up for texts so you can get great discounts. You should also consider buying one of the Éminence skincare products.

My partner and I got a couples massage with Trey and Sulema. They were both wonderful! They were open and communicative about the massage process, and the massages themselves were so relaxing. AUR has a great ambiance for a relaxing experience. We can't wait to go again!

I had the best massage I have ever had in my life with Sulema Lopez. I needed my 3rd eye in tune and my chakras aligned and she did just that. I walked in feeling heavy and walked out like a pink cloud!! The girls at the front desk were the best as well in customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone!! Thanks guys! I called and they got me in for a super last minute appointment and Breeana was AMAZING! The facility is stunning and very clean, staff is very sweet and Breeana was incredibly passionate and well-educated. I'm very happy with the service and it was worth every cent.
