Armaan Resales

Basically, this is a scam. Anyone considering spending any money with Armaan Resales should do themselves a big favour and really research this company.
You’ll find an AR social media presence but with no comments, note the dubious Sky TV interview, and numerous business improvement memes with few links to content. My comment on their FaceBook page was instantly blocked, suggesting they remove anything which exposes how they operate.
None of the positive reviews here describe having a store - the products, the tasks, the money, the customers. Most try to assure you AR are trustworthy, most probably written by paid virtual assistants.
AR responses to critical reviews massively exaggerate store revenue but omit to share the refund rate, or the AR and Amazon fees. They claim to provide support, and failure is the fault of the client for not following AR instructions or reading newsletters, however these are, mainly, about business improvement and given you have zero control over any of the business elements – product quality, price, marketing, shipping/delivery, customer care – these are frankly just for show; check their posts on FB and Twitter, mostly just statements with no content.
Some of the other critical reviewers say AR has requested they remove their review in exchange for more products, more support, etc. basically bribery to avert honesty reaching potential new clients.
15 months ago, having considered what ARs Simon May presented, and after being told that ‘just give it a year, you’ll have made your initial investment back and be seeing profits, if you aren’t then you can keep whatever profit you’ve made and AR will refund you the cost of the store’, I became one of their clients. I have made sales, alongside huge amounts of refunds and customers are regularly upset, often angry.
My accounts to date: Amazon Sales £13,918; Amazon Refunds £5,476; Cost of Products £7,045; Amazon Seller Fees £2,101, thus making an operating loss of over £700, added to the £9.5k purchase price, a total loss of over £10.2k. As verified by a senior accountant, using Link My Books and Xero, to pull information from Dropsys (ARs portal) and Amazon. There is no question I have made significant financial losses as a result of AR.
I’ve been ripped off and have tried to invoke clause ‘’33.2 The Supplier warrants to buy the business from the Customer if the Revenue Target and the Profit Margin are not achieved’’ of the contract, but what this actually means is that the store has to be ‘sold’ before you recoup the purchase price. Apparently, to ‘sell’ the store I need to contract as sole sellers for 183 days Zazia Sales & Consulting Ltd, also owned by Zaid Arshed, the very same owner of AR.
Unbelievably there is a charge of £5k (plus VAT) and 8.5% of the sale price to sell what are essentially their listings back to them. Even if this was bonafide, to recoup my initial outlay the sale price would have to be in excess of £15k, a tall order for a loss maker.
AR say the alternative is I sell the store ‘just find the buyer and we’ll do the rest (for a fee)’. This fee is unknown, but is ‘less than Zazia Sales’. It’s an absolute racket.
If AR were so resolute that their business model is successful, and legitimate, for clients they should have the confidence to back it by honouring what they say and respectfully reimburse clients. In short, there is no reimbursement or buy back, these are pretences to lull you into a false sense of security before getting trapped on ARs profiteering merry-go-round.
Basically Amazon does not allow multiple seller accounts to operate on their platform so this sham is ARs work around; they get clients to open up Amazon stores, pretty much on their behalf, albeit with different names, and thus providing a multi-store front for AR on Amazon. It breaks Amazon protocol and will be shut down.
I regret ever considering AR. I’m embarrassed and ashamed to have been scammed. The greed, disrespect and disgraceful conduct of Armaan Resales as they steal our money is despairing and shocking and needs to be called out.
