Dr. Kunde has been such a blessing to our family. My 16 month old son was vomiting almost daily for two months. We took him to multiple professionals, who were dismissive, despite my son losing weight and obviously not thriving. Dr. Kunde took my son’s health seriously and immediately took action. After two visits Dr. Kunde had us on a diet plan, medication, and scheduled an endoscopy. He discovered that my son has EOE. If I had not visited Dr. Kunde and followed the advice of previous providers my son’s esophagus could have been seriously damaged. My son has gained a significant amount of weight and is doing amazing. I cannot that Dr. Kunde and his staff enough for their support and guidance!

I had a good experience, since Dr. Kunde told us at our first visit, what was causing my son's abdominal pain, though going to Duke and UNC GI doctors had not helped at all,

The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained his ideas of the issue thoroughly.

I was extremely pleased with Dr. Kunde! He took the time to explain in detail (with visuals) what my son was experiencing. I work in training and development, so I appreciate a physician who takes the time to educate caregivers rather than simply giving a diagnosis. While reviewing our options for treatment, he explained the pros and cons of each option ranging from least invasive to most invasive. I wish he was a general pediatrician because I would love to have him oversee my son’s primary care.
